@Cili you are the master of suspense. I can't wait to find out what's in Folder 3!

Thanks for the heads up about Craig Sorrenti! I was unaware of his profiles, but he's in good company, so they must be worth checking out.

Really nice playing, @chitarmacista!

I'll have to pick up some more of your profiles based on your post and thread title alone.

I've been having really good luck creating KPA cabs from Ownhammer IRs. Their Bogner OS closed-back 212 in particular is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the process for creating/audtioning/deleting these cabs on the Kemper is pretty tedious. I'm assuming recording the Kemper w/o cab into my DAW and then using an IR loader plugin to audition would probably be a more efficient way to do this. Does anyone have experience with this or have recommendations on IR loader plugins (AU format - Logic Pro X)?

I was really excited about the Friedman plugins, but was disappointed after trying the demo. I also was unimpressed by their Engl and Marshall amps. UA makes a lot of great stuff, but their guitar plugins in no way compare to the Kemper (or even some other completing plugins).

These all sound really great @ejdeon! I've always loved Vai's tone on that section too. The segue from Answers to The Riddle is probably my single favorite moment on that album.

I really think this should be a "pinned" topic. I've found this tip indispensable when naming cab and effects presets.

... and so my RockProfiles collection grows.

The world of IRs has really opened my eyes and ears to how impactful a cab is on a rig. I've either owned combo amps or heads with matching cabs so never realized how drastically the cab/speakers change the sound.
I agree with @Eltzejupps recommendations and would also add Michael Britt's cabs pair well with other merged or direct profiles. If you don't already have his profiles, you can buy a collection of just his cab IRs (https://mbritt.com/product/mblended-ir-pack-1/).

HW, that's so funny to hear what's on deck. This is precisely the request I sent you guys this afternoon. You've done such a great job with the clean and lower-gain stuff, I'm very interested in hearing your take on some higher-gain tones. Looks like I won't have to wait long.

That sounds great and like the Pat DiNizio shoutout.

Thanks for sharing and I like it a lot! It was a little bright for my tastes, but that's my only minor critique and clearly subjective. It's nice and tight and punchy. I'd be interested in hearing more profiles of this amp. Wizards are definitely the unicorns of the amp world.

@PriStudio I bought your single on iTunes and subscribed on YouTube. I really dig the tune and am looking forward to future music from you guys!
-
Thanks for taking care of existing customers with the extra discount! This makes the bundle an insta-buy. I look forward to trying out the whole collection!
-
Glad to hear it @PriStudio! I really like your profiles and hope we'll see an "Everything Bundle" in the near future.

Am I the only one who noticed the large number of grayish blue guitars introduced at NAMM? This photo is only some of them and I could have easily added more from some other vendors. Is this a coincidence? Massive corporate espionage? Secret plot by the Bilderbergers and/or Illuminati?

Thanks a lot for doing these tutorials! I'm a new Kemper owner and find these really helpful.

Yes, the guys at @ChopTones have the Brit 1959 White RR. I have it and think it's excellent! ChopTones is definitely one of my favorite profile vendors because everything I've bought from them has been killer.

@Cili I've bought 6 of your packs so far, but the HR50 is definitely my favorite. You really nailed these profiles!
