The Kemper Profiling Amp is the pinnacle of what can be achieved in the digital domain! It's by far the best piece of guitar gear I've ever bought and completely cured my GAS to boot!

    Welcome home!

I was about to testdrive these profiles after copying them into my local library and randomly clicked the JMP 2203 3GS L TS9 + profile.... and couldn't put the guitar down for an hour...
The profile just floored me! Didn't have to touch it (Playing with my Jem 77FP with BKP War pig and Cold Sweat).

I love my TriAxis and Mark Profiles but next rehearsal i'm going to take these merged profiles for a spin on my live setup (Marshall EL34 50/50 into 1960a 4x12 G12T75 cab). Can't wait!!

Thank you so much mr. Thompson!

    Dear Ash,

Thank you for the kind words but Damian is the TRUE pillar here. I'm just forever in his debt for creating this fine piece of software. I truly believe Damian is all heart and whilst he explained to me why he understands why the good folks at Kemper stick to their decision to uphold the ban, it really is a shame... he could be of so much help to everyone in this fine community but alas... Back to the waiting untill hell freezes over I guess...

Thanks you everyone for supporting Damian! He's reading all posts here and really, really appreciates everyone who is enjoying Toast ME.

One more thing: the Kemper is really the best piece of hardware I ever bought, Damian just enhanced the editing/creating experience tenfold! Thank you Damian and thank you CK and Kemper team. It sure is a great time to be a guitar player.

    Kindest of regards,

    Tijl

So when owned(or still own?)tube amp, did you post on Marshall, Fender, Peavy, MB or whatever, on their forum(s) and complained there's no software editor? Or did you build your own amp with software editor? :D Sorry I can't help it. I mean what's the fuzz about an editor or not? Play your Kemper an be happy and use the energy to compose rather than wasting negative energy like it's a matter of life and death if there's no editor? I don't understand all the fuss about it. Life's to short anyway.

Well mr GearJocke, one can't really compare a full blown studio solution like our beloved Kemper (FX, controls, morph, synth, transpose, ir-loading,.... the works!) with something as straight forward as a (tube) amp now can we?
Please stop making up lame excuses for Kemper to not provide an editor my friend, that's just plain sad and you know it... But you have a point: with or without the editor the Kemper is just heaven, the editor would be the icing on the cake and we all love some icing now and then, agreed?

    Kind Regards
    Tijl

Graphics is easy stuff. You just have to size it up to the pixel for what ever you are using it for. I used to make all kinds of designs for things like the Windows Media Player for S&G. Here is a quick example:You can get real 3D and have the buttons push in/out visually, knobs rotate, etc..etc.. All depends on how many images and maps you use.

Looks nice Nemo, albeit a litte crammed here and there. I like an interface that 'breaths'. But nice work on the knobs!

Damian is aware of all your questions and wishes. He's contemplating as we speak on how to address the input lock state.

Thanks for all the feedback. I would really Kemper to unban Damian... He's so eager to answer your questions directly. Come on CK, throw the man a bone....

    Kind regards.

I think I said this a long way back in the thread, and I'm sure many would agree:

I reckon that should we be lucky enough to receive an editor from Kemper, it'll be friggin'-awesome. I predict that it'll look great, be ergonomically-laid-out and leave many of us shaking our heads at just how well-though-out it is.

Well, a monkey can dream, can't he? :/

Dear fellow Kemper afficionado. Please continue warning newcomers like myself, I'm sure it got me back on track, i.e. not seeing ghosts... You are a godsend.

    Kindest of regards.

For those who didn't know, MIDI CC and sysex messages have been used by software editors to control all manner of synthesisers, FX and other devices, even

    Wow!! Great post my Friend.

For wat its worth: I've created a new post on the Toast ME editor in the private section of this forum so I will no longer check in this thread.
    Thanks for your advice.

    Kindest of regards!

    Hardware configuration
To use this EDITOR you will need a good, solid MIDI interface!

You can use regular midi cables if your computer/audio interface boasts both Midi In and Midi Out ports or you can use a midi-to-USB cable.
WARNING: Do not buy cheap no-name USB to MIDI interfaces! Whilst they may support basic Midi PC and CC, Toast ME uses SYSEX data messages to communicate with your Kemper, which is often not supported by cheap Midi to USB interfaces.

Interfaces that will work with SYSEX messages:
    • M-Audio Uno
    • M-Audio Profire 2626
    • M-Audio MIDISPORT UNO
    • M-Audio MIDISport 2X2 USB Bundle
    • Yamaha UX 16 USB/MIDI interface
    • Roland Um-One
    • ESI Midimate EX
    • ESI Midimate II
    • AVID/M-Audio Fast Track Pro (latest drivers from AVID)
    • Motu 823 mk3
    • Miditech MIDIface 4x4
    • Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 1 gen
    • Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2 gen
    • RME FireFace UC

    Interfaces that will not work:
    • LogiLink® Adapter USB to Midi In-Out
    • Proster 6Ft 2M USB to MIDI Interface Cable Adapter

    Install notes
I have created a video in which I go through the installation procedure and how to hook up your Kemper by midi and how to configure the Toast ME software to enable bi-directional full SYSEX Midi communication between your computer and the Kemper Profiling Amp.
