Grabbed some OR15 profiles from Rig Exchange a while back and they sound identical (from what I remember anyway) to the OR15 I used to own through an open back Orange 212.

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more.
I would purchase some preamp and vocal chain profiles in a minute.
Definitely some uncontested market space in regard to profiles

Thanks brother!
ABd with the pres in my Presonus Quantum interface and I liked the Kemper better!
Definitely holds up

So I noticed some preamp profiles (Neve, Avalon, API) on Rig Exchange and wondered what plugging a mic in and recording vocals would sound like. So I did!
I used an impedance matcher XLR to TS adaptor, plugged in a Shure SM7B through the front input of the Kemper, into Logic and got some pretty cool sounds.
This genre is just what I'm working on at the moment, can't wait to try it on some more traditional rock tracks I got on the back burner.

Hey guys, so I wanted to plug a vocal mic (SM7) into the front input of the Kemper using an Audio Technica CP8201 Impedance Matching converter (XLR to 1/4" TS).
The impedance output of the CP8201 is 50,000 ohms. According to the Kemper specs, the front input impedance of the Kemper is 1MegOhm!
My question is, in regard to impedance, should this work fine? 1 MegOhm sounds like a nuke!
Thanks!!
