I went ahead and updated after backing everything up.
It’s a minor thing. Saved performance’s morphing works fine.

Just updated Rig Manager. Cool.
It can’t communicate until I update my KOAS to 7.0. Also cool.
Except I’m reading all the great things that were added and then get to known issues...
“Morph settings not immediately audible, but require a move of the Morph Pedal.”
Is that true?! I use Morphing all the time. So the Rig buttons won’t work?
Anyone try this yet?
Can I revert RM for now?
is that a light inside kemper’s logo ? i saw a lil bit flicker inside the logo on the youtube videos
Yup
The 1 through 5 and up and down are also backlit. Super cool.
Question: I see from the 30-minute video that in the System menu page 2 (user interface) that you change the volume LED collar from Master to Monitor... any other selections? Rig volume?Headphones?
Also Noise Gate? Moved to Input button presumably?
Thank you.
If I recall, there was a video out there about how to set up two Kemper's to play in sync without the phasing issues.
I'm pretty sure it's just a checkbox on one of the menus
Constant Latency in the Output menu
I'm from the P&W world too - didn't realize that it was exclusive to us, but looking back, I can see it!
I use a stereo rig just to get my modulation and delay effects in stereo - it just makes it wider IMHO.
That being said, does anyone know if you can SEND in stereo and RETURN in stereo? Or, does that not make any sense because Stomps A-D are summed to mono still? Would be cool if Stomps A-D were upgraded to stereo... really this only applies to ambient nerds like myself
You can already have stereo modulation, delay and reverb. Yes, it absolutely makes it wider.
If youre using a board and want it into stereo, you should be running it “4 cable method”. Mono stuff goes to the input. Mono send to your first stereo pedal stereo return after your last stereo pedal. Done.
I think that dual amps isn’t all that people make it out to be.
I agree. I’m from the P&W world where dual amp rigs are everywhere and I just don’t see the need. I get killer tones as is. The short version is: it sounds a little more exciting in your in-ears/headphones. The effect is largely lost on any audience or congregation.
Also, pretty much all of those dual amp rigs involve a stereo board in front. If you can’t completely reroute the signal chain in the Kemper to do this, it would be for nothing. That is what dual amp people are looking for.
I’ve seen that.
You’d better tell Sweetwater and the guy who makes you tutorial videos that as well. They don’t know.
Way too much mixed info in the press.
Does it profile or not?
Preferably someone who actually knows for a fact will answer...
The commands I got from @nightlight are the same I’ve found elsewhere on this site.
1/2 Speed and Reverse seem to have gone the way of the dodo like Undo. If someone else has a newer command fro them, please share.
Updating myself for future viewers of this thread.
Some firmware version along the way, sure enough, all these commands work including Undo.
Is the pad engaged on one profiler and not the other?
That is not how performance mode works for me at all. Very strange. NOTHING saves unless I save it.
Do you have something Locked? Is your Lock button lit up?
By the way, I did simplify and got my spillover back for that slot. I removed an effect that wasn’t being used and traded a Natural Reverb for an Easy Reverb with about the same sound.
It would be nice to know somehow where that line is
is the delay and reverb positioned in the delay and reverb modules in that particular rig?
Spillover only works for these modules. If you place the delay in another slot it will be cut off when you change to a different rig.
Yessir
...although spillover for another slot would be great
Don't overload the Rig with effects. Spillover has a lower priority and might get skipped, if too many complex effects are involved.
Thanks. I did not know that.
Are there some effects that are more intensive than others?
Not that I know of
A fix for this would be if the EQ slot in the Stack could do Studio EQ functions as well as BMTP which has been requested. That would be nice.
I'm using 4 slots so I just tried moving 2/3/4 over to 3/4/5 and the problem moved to 3 with that rig.
And now just tried copying that rig to another performance. The problem is in the Rig but I can't seem to fix it.
I've seen a couple guys experience this and it just happened to me.
I use spillover all the time. It's always turned on. I have performance that will NOT spillover when switching to rig 2 from either 1 or 3. Other rigs spillover just fine.
Anyone experience this or know the fix? I've tried copying/pasting things around. Even drug it into Rig Manager, deleted from Kemper and drug it back on. Same thing. Just now tried saving it with "Rig Spillover Off" selected on every slot and then going back through and deselecting that and saving again. Still no dice.
Very strange.
Thanks in advance
I’ve had many freezes with USB when attached to Rig Manager, as have many users in the Facebook groups. Seems quite common.
Never used a keyboard, though.
Side note: when it freezes, if you switch the chicken head knob to off, it will do it after a solid 5 seconds or so.
