More mids.
Also, for a tighter feel, turn up Power Sagging in the Amplifier menu. I love that control.

This is what it is...

Reverbs do* have a Freeze button. Not sure I understand the comment about only being for delay

This is a popular request that’s been asked a few times under slightly different names but I’d love to see it happen.
-
Look under your conversations.
Hit me with that PM, Gizmo. Maybe I missed something last time I tried.
-
It seems to me, instead, that the OP wants to "be able to change slots (within the current performance) and return to that slot with the added stomp and not have it revert to the original saved state."
He doesn't want the added effect to be present in the other rigs.
Ah! I reread it and you are right. That is different. I believe Helix has an option like that but that would be nice to have.

I think what you’re looking for is the ability to Lock stomps and effects per performance, which has been requested on other threads and I totally agree.

Glad to have found this thread. I juuust tried using S/PDIF for the first time and was pretty let down haha.
How do I revert to firmware? Never done that. Or I’ll just wait for the next one.

This is no issue of the remote control.
See below...
There is no parameter controlling looper volume between 0 and 100%.
-
When several of the NRPN commands for the Looper went away, Kemper seemed to be sending the message: “if you want the full Looper, buy the remote!” BUT the remote is not capable of controlling the Looper volume in any way... that doesn’t make sense. You’d need the remote and a separate MIDI controller for full functionality.
I now understand endoverend ’s reasoning for this thread and you can put me down for a +1 on this request.
-
My only problem with Looper Volume on the Kemper is that it doesn’t go down to -∞ making it difficult to use live where you might want to fade out.
Does the NRPN control take it to -∞?
-
Did confirm that the NRPN messages are back and working again, play, overdub, undo, reverse, 1/2, and trigger are all working. I couldn't get anything to work using the CC#34.
thanks
Really? Cool. Will try.
I’m currently using the remote but I’d like an alternate setup with my MIDI controller and a couple pedals and still be able to use the Looper.

How big is P&W really? I had never heard of it until this forum. It’s definitely not my bag but I understand there must be others who are into it I just don’t know how many that is in reality. Is a a big thIng?
It’s big.
I would bet the number of church bands covering popular P&W songs in their Sunday morning services is more than bar bands covering classic rock on Saturday night. Lookup Hillsong, Bethel, Passion, Elevation Worship, Vertical Worship, etc. on Spotify or iTunes or similar. It may not be on the radio station you listen to but it’s played a lot.
It’s also the genre that gets made fun of for their overly large and expensive pedalboards, meaning they apparently have money to blow haha. I’m a recovering pedalholic. I’ve been Kemper with remote only for live use since buying it over a year ago. It’s very powerful. I love proving to folks that this genre can be done without the space station board. This is just one of those things that’ll help convince more people that Kemper is a viable option.
-
it seems to me that implementing the request would be a great testament in favour of Kemper: these musicians (and many others of course) would have less and less reasons to use competitors' products because of KPA's routing limitations, which appear to be critical in this (and other) music realm.
Exactly. It’s a big deal in this genre and Line6 is getting a lot of our marketshare because of the routing flexibility.
Tone-wise, I’m a Kemper guy for sure but a few more small flexibility improvements would be huge.
-
I love that feature, paults
I use it a lot to make the Kemper sound more like a breathing amp haha. I just wish the negative Ducking worked smoother.
-
I want spillover too. It would let me sell my wet effects and buy another guitar!!!
Now there’s a good reason!
-
This is very popular for P&W sounds. At least Stomp D but why not more

Brian Carl is a profile-maker/seller and I don’t believe he’s knowingly shared any on the Rig Exchange.
He does have a free pack and *maybe* those particular ones are from it but I don’t know that for sure.
