zombieguitarist the master volume knob can be linked to any combination of outputs that you wish by using the link softkeys. Many people have it set to not affect main output (for consistent signal to FOH) but affect the monitor output and/or headphone output for personal monitoring. In this example the single master volume knob would control two different outputs simultaneously. However, you can also override this by opening the output menu and turning the knob below the volume for each individual output.

The manual also simply says that you can create a new performance by right clicking > create new performance > start editing. However, it omits the very import fact that you need to double click the newly created (and highlighted) performance to load it into the edit buffer before actually editing. Failing to double click appears to be one of the main causes of erratic behaviour in creating and managing performances. Given the number of problems users seem to h ave with RM and performances, I would agree that greater step by step clarity is needed in the manual.
Unfortunately there would still be a very large number that don’t bother reading the manual anyway so the maybe support feel the time is better spent just responding to user issues on a one to one basis than updating the manual ?

it needs to be on performance mode to work properly.

Rigs modified in Performance Mode can be stored into the browse pool using the soft button labeled “Export Rig to Pool” on the “Store Performance” page.

Oh god, I can feel the weight of responsibility pushing down pn my shoulders already ?

I believe that is correct. You can test it yourself by putting a compressor in a post Amp FX block. Raise amp volume with the compressor Off. Turn the Compressor On and observe the difference. Now do the same with either reverb or delay you shouldn’t get any difference. I believe the impact is FX type specific rather than position specific. i.e. it doesn’t matter what slot the Compressor or Delay are in the results should be the same. The alternative would be that the Fx type doesn’t matter but rather any FX in the Delay or Reverb slot wouldn’t be affected by changes in the amp volume for example a Compressor wouldn’t be affected by Amp volume changes if it was placed in the Reverb slot. I can’t remember if I tested that (I think I did but the old grey matter isn’t up to much these days ?). part of me wants to believe that it is the FX position rather than type which makes the difference as this would make sense with the ability to tap the signal after Mod or send separate Delay/Rev signal to its own output but The other version also makes intuitive sense to me so try a quick test and report back with your findings.

Headphone out is the only output I use. Live or recording, that jack is sore.
Have you tried using the other outs with Space enabled?

As Ruefus said, there are several ways to do a boost depending on what else you have going on.
In addition to the method Ruefus outlined you might want to consider using the Morph function (if you aren’t already using it for something else). Or you could use the volume pedal. Settings from 0 to -5 determine how much the signal will be cut when moving to the heel position but settings from 0 to +5 turn it into a variable boost with the number dictating how much boost you achieve in full toe position. -
Turn down the Master Volume instead of rig volume. Rig volume is really for balancing levels between rigs then saving. Master Volume isn’t saved with rigs as it affects everything.

I like this. I would also like the ability to loop so when going up you reach the highest slot the next push takes you round to the first slot again. When going down, instead of stopping at the lowest slot further presses continue round to the highest slot.

Glad to hear it actually worked I’m as surprised about that as anyone ?

I'm just guessing here, but the Kone is a 200w speaker, and I'm thinking that it is less efficient than your 15w speaker. Hopefully someone will come along and correct or agree.
I can’t find the sensitivity for the Kone but the Celestion K12 that is is apparently based on is 98db while the Alnico Blue is 100db so you are right, you would expect the Blue to sound louder with the same input.

Didn't found anything about this in the Changelog: KEMPER PROFILER Changelog 8.2.2.28378.txt
I think it came in a couple of betas back.

glad you got to the bottom of it ?

Do you have an expression pedal attached? Is it not 100% in the heel position?

It doesn’t ship with a printed manual as they are constantly updating the software and the manual may be out of date by the time the unit reaches the customer. -
Got myself this Jackson a couple of months ago. Added gold covers on top of pickups, as stock ones go uncovered
guessing you play a lot of cocktail jazz or worship music ?
