I've found that you can literally watch these videos and pause / execute / continue . When you see a step that applies pause the video, do the step and then move on. Works for me and I'm an old guy who hates doing stuff like this.

This has probably been asked but I couldn't find it in a search so I'm asking here.
Is there a proper method for turning off the Stage version?
Obviously, powering down with the power button is the right way to do it, why does the power button remain lit?
I can't imagine that pulling the plug is the way to go, but it bugs me to leave that power on all the time.

I purchased a rigpack from Michael Britt that includes 3 performances. They are located in my RM under the "all performances" and below that "local library" tabs.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to load them to my toaster.
I see people refer to drag and drop but where do I drop them? There is no tab for the profiler itself.
Also interestingly the performances that I have created and have been using for months are not listed in this "all performances" tab.
How do I get them to show up in that list as well?
Thanks guys. I'm obviously not good at this stuff and could really use some help.

Thanks Sam. Just what I was looking for. Cheers.

I just got the matrix powered cab and I play in a medium sized club with a nice PA system. I have an unpowered toaster and have been running IEM until now.
My question is whether I should run my KAP main out to the Matrix and the go out of the Matrix to FOH? Or should I go separately one line to Matrix cab and one to the FOH.
If it's the latter, which output should I use for the FOH and the cab and should I go with cab sim on or off for each.
Obviously I'd like to hear the KPA in all of it's glory through the Matrix cab. So I'm wondering if using the output from the cab will diminish the tone to FOH.
Sorry for the remedial inquiry but I'm a idiot where these type of things are concerned. -

I normally play in a small club and just run direct to front of house and use IEM for my sound. But this weekend I have a show at an outdoor venue and I want to run direct to FOH and use a powered FRFR monitor on stage.
I'll be running both in mono and my KPA is the unpowered version.
My question is(and I assume I run my left main output to FOH)
Where do I connect my powered monitor cable and should I use an instrument cable or a speaker cable for this connection.
Thanks all. I'm guessing this is a pretty simple question and I appreciate any help you can offer on the subject. -

This from the article for instance;
"Most classic Fender amps have 2 or 3 EQ knobs: Bass, Midrange, and Treble that go from 0 to 10. Seems simple enough. Most guitarists assume these amps work on the idea that “5” is a middle choice, and turning them up beyond this adds more of each frequency.
Makes sense. But it’s wrong. In reality, these are cut knobs. Leo Fender actually designed the Fender circuit to be flat with all EQ knobs on 10!
The tone controls on traditional Blackface Fender amps are passive. In fact, most EQ knobs on the best tube guitar amps are passive. The major exception is the graphic EQ on some Mesa Boogie amps. They are active which means you can cut OR boost frequencies.
Have you ever seen a guitarist start with all the EQ knobs turned up and take them back slowly? Now you know why. I know it seems weird, but I encourage you to try it! It brings out other qualities in the amp you might not know exist. Most notably, the midrange on amps that don’t have a midrange knob." -

Thanks all.
If I do save say four stomps by holding the stomp button will these stomps preempt the stomps on the rigs I might want to use in the future?
Thanks again. -
Okay I've got my performance set for tomorrow's show now I'd like to set some stomps that will work in all 5 of the rigs in my performance.
Can't seem to set up a stomp without changing the rig and I'd like to set up stomps(4) that'll work in all 5 of my rigs.
I think this may be called global. But my search of the forum has been useless.
I'll keep looking and thanks.
