Hey guys! I've had this pack out over a month now and everyone from this forum has been so supportive. Here's another free sample tone! This is of the OCD in LP mode, no overdrive in front of it - just a super simple, slightly scooped clear distortion. Hope you like it!
-
Ahh mate, thanks so much for posting this. I'm really pleased that the string definition has translated over, that was one of the most important elements in this pack for me. I'm so so happy you like the pack dude!
-
Thanks so so much Ash! I'm really syked you like the pack.
Let me know how it works out with actives, i've never tried them with these tones so i'd love to hear it!
(ps - for your strat and les paul - all the tones marked '2' were created using a Les Paul, and '4' were created using a strat!)
-
Thanks for checking them out guys! Let me know what you think

Hey guys! Hope you're enjoying the weekend. Here's another free tone from the pack to try out, it's of a Union Tubes And Transformers 'Tsar Bomba' Green Russian Big Muff. Less high gain than the other two, but with bags of midrange and detail!

Hey guys! Here's what i've been working away at over the past month. A super comprehensive profile collection of my favourite Big Muff fuzz pedals. Here's what it sounds like:
External Content youtu.beContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. This pack collection of 40+ profiles using three different vintage and boutique big muffs. They were created using a variety of guitars with options for just a Muff into the amp AND a collection of different overdrives to add flavour, power and intensity to the tones. All running through a Marshall JCM800 into an Orange 4x12 miked up using a Royer R121 and Shure SM57 through Great River Preamps. Each pedal combination is dialed in to it's sweet spot so you can just plug in and play! I'm really proud of the collection, I hope you like it.
The pack contains at least 4 profiles of each pedal combination, including:
1970’s V4 Big Muff Pi - One of the original Op Amp Big Muffs, this is the same model used by Smashing Pumpkins on Siamese Dream.
V4 Big Muff Pi boosted using a Keeley Oxblood.
V4 Big Muff Pi boosted using an Ibanez Tubescreamer.Black Russian Big Muff - These have an absolutely unreal low end that I find is just as useful for bass as it is for guitar, I also find them way more open and detailed than the more modern Big Muffs.
Black Russian Big Muff boosted using a Boss Blues Driver.
Black Russian Big Muff boosted using a Mesa Flux Drive.Union Tubes and Transistors Tsar Bomba - An incredible sounding Green Russian Big Muff Clone, lower gain and more detailed than it’s EHX cousins with a wonderful midrange.
Tsar Bomba boosted using a Boss Blues Driver.
Tsar Bomba boosted using a Keeley Oxblood. It's available to download now from: http://www.bobcoopertones.com and you can check out a couple of samples of the profiles attached to this post.

Thanks so much Marcus! I'm really really happy you're enjoying it. I really like the Archer through the J-OCD too, I think the lower mid bump that the archer adds to tones really works well with the slightly brighter J-OCD.
Haha oh god i'm not a clip maker either, i'm with you there - making demos for the profiles has been terrifying, haha!

Ive finally had the time to really delve into this pack n thought i'd share my thoughts. Safe to say I really, really like this pack both for quality and variety. While I love my tube amp gain, pedals definately offer you a different flavour, and the seven pedals on offer here each have their own distinct taste. Now first off your not gonna get lush expansive cleans like Tone Junkie or Selah sounds( although the pedal base tones are good and take external pedals very nicely indeed). Your also not gonna get brutal tight metal like deadpan or sinmix can provide. What you do get is a rich variety of drive n distortion tones running through from driven blues, indie n punk to classic, hard n heavy rock with pinch harmonics jumping off the board with ease. The tones are full and clear, and react well to rolling off the guitar volume n picking lighter for a break up type sound. I've found a little extra on presence and a touch of space yielded really nice results too. There's barely any hiss audible and only on one of the precision drive profiles did I feel any benefit from a noise gate. I think for anyone who likes the tonal variety of drive pedals this pack is definately worth checking out. There was a free four profile sample pack which if it's still available is a no brainer to try out. The full pack obviously covers a much wider array of pedal gain tones and I'm continuing to have a lot of fun exploring its range of possibilities. I have lots of high quality packs from pretty much all of the go to guys in the profile market and I think these more than hold their own. For a first venture into profiling I have to say I'm more than impressed with the quality on offer, very good work Mr Cooper.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this Brian, it really means a lot! I'm so happy you're enjoying the tones!Just bought these, I'll give you some feedback after the weekend. I work Fri-Sun. Hope they're as good as the first few customers claim. Love the concept.
Regards, Marc
Thank you for trusting in the pack enough to buy it Marc. Let me know what you think, and if there's anything at all I can help with.

36 downloads! This is so cool. Has anyone had a chance to use it yet? I'd love to hear some feedback

No problem guys, I hope you like it!

Hey guys! Here’s my free tone of the week - a Fuzzrocious Cat driving a Fulltone OCD through a Marshall JCM800 and Orange 4x12.
This was a really fun tone, and weirdly - it’s a pedal combination I haven’t used before. I set the OCD as the main distortion, bright and detailed sitting somewhere between mid and high gain. The Fuzzrocious Cat (a Rat style pedal) was acting as an overdrive but instead of pushing and tightening the midrange like a Tubescreamer or Klon style pedal, it was reinforced the low and high end, solidifying the tone while adding a grinding gritty top end.
The pedals were running through a Marshall JCM800 into an Orange 4x12, miked up using a Royer R121 and Shure SM57 with Great River preamps.
You can get it from here or click the attachment in the post

Thanks for being so welcoming guys! This forum is so good!

You're welcome guys! I hope you like them, please let me know what you think.
Cheers Bob! I'm currently playing some New Order tracks with a view to recording them, so will audition the more distorted of the two rigs to see if it gets me in the Hooky ballpark.
Dude that's awesome! I hope it comes in useful.
-
Sorry for my late feedback! Now that I had the time to try out the Pedal Base Profile I can just agree with the statement above. Everything is fine with that rig! No noise, no hiss Sounds good too and eats pedals like a dream. I am going to your shop now and grab the pack
I'm so glad it's sounding good for you dude!
Thank you so much for buying the pack. I hope you like it - and please let me know if you have any feedback on it / there's anything I can do to improve it in the future too

Hey guys! I took a quick profile of a driven bass tone from my recording session today.
We were aiming for a wild Death From Above 1979 level of distortion with this tone so we paired up a Fender Mustang with a Fuzzrocious Cat, a Rat clone designed for bass and pushed the distortion as far as we could until the pedal started to lose detail, then dialled it back just a hair and drove it through a Sansamp pedal.
This was a quick profile made during this week's recording session. It includes two versions, the standard profile (which can sound a little too lightly driven with certain players and instruments) and a tweaked, more aggressive profile. Unfortunately I didn't have chance to make a sample before I left.
Download it from the attachment or from here: www.bobcoopertones.com
Hope you like them!

I tried two of the pedal platform profiles (through bd 770 pro headphones, moderate volume) must admit i was thinking "where's the hiss he's talking about"? Really nothing evident to me at all noise wise, just sounded like a good clean base tone.
Haha I guess it was all in my head! This is really good to hear. Thanks mate! -
I'll have to check these out. The video sounds fantastic!
Thanks so much mate!
-
Ahh thank you! Please let me know if any noise issues come up, if there aren't - i'll take that disclaimer off the website
(And if anyone else would like to download that pedal base profile - please feel free, i'd love to know what anyone thinks of it!)
-
Thanks so much for pointing this out man - I think I have made an absolute 'my first day' mistake when i was listening back to the tones the other day, as i'm playing through them now and i'm not hearing anywhere near the level of hiss I was hearing before. Maybe it was an issue with my guitar?
If you'd like to check out one of the pedal platform rigs, i've attached it to this post. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
