from the manual:
Snapshots
Snapshots are copies of entire Rigs, which you can capture by simply pushing the soft button labelled “Store Snapshot” on the regular home screen in Browser Mode at any time. Snapshots are stored outside of your browse pool.
On the “Details” page in Rig Settings, the soft button labeled “Browse Snapshots” opens a list of all Snapshots. Here, you can compare sounds easily. Use the BROWSE knob to select a Snapshot from that list, which you can then load, delete, or store as a Rig in your browse pool.

vielleicht liegt´s daran:
Großes Handbuch S.244 ff.
Der Parameter DLY+REV Routing (im Rig-Menü)
-
Maybe that will be useful for you:

ich konnte da zwar nicht reinhören ( geht nicht mit Safari), aber ich würde dir raten den Support zu kontaktieren:

Hi,
steht alles Haarklein erklärt im "Großen Handbuch" unter "Profil eines Verstärkers ohne Gitarrenbox („Direct Amp-Profil“)"
S.320 ff.

since Zappa i haven´t seen anyone transcribing speech rhythms:

record "live" in the studio with for example an acoustic jazz trio, you will find out that you hear every switch on the recording.
another example: gig with a vocalist in a lively room like a church: you will hear every click from the buttons for several seconds
i always end up using some old boss and ibanez pedals, which allow silent switching.

But if you intend to flexibly engage/disengage >20 effects momentarily exactly as shown in this video, that will be hard to realize.
That´s not what i want to do, but it would be nice and sufficient for me to have the possibility to have 4 effects momentarily in a rig.
-
it´s probably superfluous if you play "Wind of Change", but for more experiemental stuff like Adrian Belew or Nick Reinhart this would be a useful option imho. the added complexity would be on option to toggle the switches between latch/momentary/automatic.
i attached a video to be more clear (starts at 14:10)

The automatic latched / momentary detection is very cool, but it would be great to be able to save a switch as momentary by default.
Not possible at the moment, or did i miss something?

same here, when i turned the browse knob a distortion preset loaded (see my old post):
-
i know that the amount of the "space" effect is reduced now, but i liked it more how it was in the first version. would be cool if there was a mix control knob ...
-
not sure if I understand what you mean, but do you know this site? in general you will see the "real" name of the profiled amp
-
du kannst den monitor out auf stereo stellen, dann wird der "send" zum zweiten monitor ausgang
-
you can assign more than one stomp to one button for sure, please check your manual
-
are both outputs changing in volume? if you are playing mono, a 6db jump could be related to a faulty cable. which output do you use?
-
when i press the delay stomp button and want to change the preset, i turn the browse knob, and the display shows the right category and the right fx type, but the preset is on something entirely different (Distortion), which causes category and type to switch to distortion too when i try to change the delay preset by turning the browse knob again. So i have to change category and type again...
what am i doing wrong?

Can you lock/unlock from the remote?
no. but the remote indicates with a light that an fx is locked and therefor, as Burkhard already wrote in #2, there can be no second assignment to this foot switch.
