I remember Reading somewhere that Christoph Kemper himself recommends not playing bass through the Kabinet. The reason is that the construction of the cabinet is not rigid enough to handle the low end. The Kones can handle bass guitar though. I have a 4x12 cab with Kones and play bass through it with no issues. At low volumes I doubt you would blow anything, but you just might not get the best results. Good luck.
