try to drag and drop this file in rig manager
to your Kemper which has to be plugged to your Computer via usb
yeah, I did that, but nothing happens. I mean, they appear in my RM, but nothing happens when I dubble click them. Probably a corrupt file then?
Display MoreSome confusion on that web-page. They are juggling with the terms presets, profiles, performances …. not consistently.
As far as I can see there are no effect presets at all - not like we call them in KEMPER terminology. There are only Rigs and Performances. However, behind some "Download Performance" your find Rigs instead of Performances!?
If you download a file with extension ".kipr" with size of about 6 kb, that's a Rig.
If you download a file with extension ".kipf", that is a Performance.
You can import both Rigs and Performances into the Local Library of Rig Manager, either under All Rigs or under All Performances.
Rigs can also be imported via USB stick.
Real KEMPER effect presets would have the same extension ".kipf" like Rigs, but be smaller in size e. g. 1 kB. These could only be imported via USB stick.
Thanks for your reply. The ones I want to use are .kipf files indeed. But like 32 kB. Still not sure where to import those files.. I put them in my library under All Performances, but when I double click on them nothing happens. And if I put them on a USB stick, the KPA cannot read the files saying: 'USB stick does not contain data to be imported'
What do you think?
load the rig and then store only the fx as preset in the kpa
you will be asked during storing if you want to save the rig or only the fx
Thanks for your reply. But how do I load the preset? When I double click on it in my Rig Manager it's not doing anything on the KPA, hence I can't store it.
Hey guys,
I came across this (imo) great presets from tonejunkie that I would love to use/adjust. It says that you can download the performance, but then what? Where do I load them? Simply loading it into the rig manager doesn't seem to work?

Maybe some of you know what to do
Cheers!
cheers, thanks
Hi folks, I'm new
Is it possible to edit a rig (stomps, effects, etc) on my macbook (with the rig manager?) instead on the profiler itself?
cheers
edit: i found some earlier threads about this, it's been an ongoing discussion it seems..
