Thanks paults. I guess I’ll have to change my workflow. In only bought profiles of 6 amps and I feel it’s going to be like hours to go through all of them. But that’s mainly because they sound so great and I can’t stop playing

It would be nice (and kind of logical) if the local library would show my favorites.

Hi there,
I've searched for a while but can't seem to find a clear answer.
I marked several profiles as favorites on my Kemper as well as on RM. When I did this in RM, I was using the location "MyKemper". I noticed that the favorite profiles are not marked as favorites in my local library folder. Is this normal or are these profiles also supposed to be marked as favorites in my local library?
Owner name in Kemper and author name in RM are identical.
thx for your feedback

I also like the Tone Junkie stuff. I just picked up the AC30 pack for $10 along with 2 other packs. With the sale and additional discount it was $26. And they sound great
I also used their discount and they do sound great. I wasn't really going for an AC30, but at 10$ I went for it. Amazing sounds with my Strat!

I do the same from my Focusrite Interface. Out from the interface into the aux input of the Kemper.
I was going for the simplest solution possible, meaning no audio interface as I don't record right now. So you go from your Focusrite with 2 TRS jacks into the inputs of the Kemper? Is the sound any better with the interface? I'm not complaining or anything, just wondering
And yes, the headphone amp of the KPA is great. Most people seem to prefer it over the headphone amps of their audio interface (especially the cheaper ones).

If I'm not mistaken, CK mentioned Q3 (maybe earlier) during Anderton's NAMM video.

Thanks! But why would that be better than through the THR5? I feel that the spatial awareness is crucial to my own playing and self-esteem during play? At least that's why I have learnt up until now.
The Space parameter actually produces a little stereo effect (like being in a small room). This is less tiring to the ears than a pure mono signal. It's not so much an "amp in the room" but rather a "room" feeling
The "amp in the room" parameter would be "pure cabinet". You can find a Kemper video tutorial explaining this parameter.

Hi keem85
I received my KPA last week and spent some time with it this weekend (wife and kid take up most of my time
I only used headphones until now and I confirm that it sounds amazing! I checked out some Plexi and Tone King Imperial profiles and I just couldn't stop playing. I played a screaming maxed out Plexi next to my sleeping baby son.
Being able to do that was the main reason for me getting the Kemper and I confirm that I don't regret getting it
cheers

Did you even read any of the OP?
Sorry. Very tired. I’ll restrain myself in the future...

You have to go into the preferences in rig manager, and check the option to also download beta updates. Then you’ll be able to update to the latest version.
Once it’s updated, you can connect your Kemper, search for updates and you’ll be able to update to 5.7.
Hope this helps

I'm waiting for my Kemper to arrive by the end of this week. Buying the Kemper is a quite significant investment for me (as for most people here, I guess) and I didn't take this decision lightly. I bought it because of what it can do right now. I consider any update or new functionality as pure bonus. I was tempted to wait for NAMM to see if they would bring out anything new, but in the end the Kemper does already do all I need and much more.

Thanks for your input guys!
I'll also check the profiles on the Kemper. Dude told me he had like a bunch of MBritt and TAF profiles on there.
Make an export if some rigs are already with the device. Good luck and have fun
Good idea! I'll export all the profiles and do the factory reset to make sure to have a clean base to work on.
Welcome, mate.
Oh Monkey_Man, it kinda feels weird to have you answering my post as I have been reading so many topics in which you commented. You have to be one of the main contributors in this forum.

Most of my Boogies have master volume knobs that go - nothing, nothing, nothing, SHIT there go the windows ! I had to use attenuators to play in the house.
I didn't even try attenuators, but felt exactly the same as you with the master volume It's just sooooo loud, even when I was using tweed power, triode mode and class a. The mark iv is also a quite hard to dial in, especially because I switch quite often between my strat and my les paul. I guess that I'll sell the mark iv now, or maybe I'll hang on to it. Might be able to sell it at better value in a decade or two
Thanks for the input -
Hi guys,
I finally pulled the trigger on a used Kemper (+ remote) today and expect it to arrive by end of this week.
I'm in my thirties and after having stopped playing for about 10 years (job, marriage and kid made sure I was busy), I recently got back into playing. I plugged in my old Mesa mark iv with a 4*12 but that definitely was not a viable solution for anyone (my wife, my son and my hearing). I was looking for the best digital solution available and in the end, I decided on the Kemper. I also considered the Headrush and the Helix, but some testing definitely convinced me. The feeling was just right with the green machine.I have to say that I have been reading your posts for quite some months now. The fact that this community is very active and that people are so helpful certainly gave me confidence when I decided to go Kemper.
My first question to you guys : as I'm buying a used Kemper, I was wondering if there were any particular elements I need to take a look on? I mean, do I need to test anything in particular (connectors, inputs, outputs, ...) ?
For now, I'm just happy to share my joy and looking forward to future exchanges!
Cheers
