Well, a real amp reacts differently to different guitars and pups,
and so do the profile in KPA, witch by definition is "a snap shot"
of the amp setting there and then while profiling.
Do different profiles of the same amp with different guitars if
you want more sounds and possibilities .
There´s plenty of room in the KPA

Hi. I guess the "proper" way to do it is to adjust these different settings
( rock / metal vs softer blues tones ) on the amp before profiling 
In other words : if the amp reacts to volume changes on the guitar
in a way you like , profile that setting of the amp .......

One way to solve the "problem" is to turn the speaker a few degrees
so it´s not "in your face" . More like normal cabs that is playing for your
kneecaps
How do you place your DXR-10 ? On a stand or like a wedge monitor
on the floor ?

DXR-10 (MK1) is fairly quiet for being a "P.A.-speaker / top" and a small hiss
from the tweeter is normal and not more than from a regular tube or solid
state guitar amp. Nothing you hear when playing ....
Comparing with HiFi studio monitors is not fair ,
It´s another league
But i don´t know what you hear and how loud this hiss is, so maybe
there´s something wrong with your DXR-10 MK 2 ..... Or not .....

Any electromagnetic stuff in your house like computer , screen, refrigerator,
air conditioner, fan, WiFi, wireless phones, light dimmers, light tubes ....
Neighbors air conditioner, Tesla charger, railway, power plant ????
Have you tried to take your gear to a friend and test in his/her house/apartment ?

In deed it sounds more like a phaser. As I see there is no active effect in the signal chain. I have no idea, how the PROFILER could be the origin of that issue.
Headphones connected to the PROFILER would be an easy test.
You could start at the HEADPHONE OUTPUT then try
Have you exchanged cables and guitar?
Have you tried to connect any other powered monitoring equipment instead of the Headrush?
What if you fed your smart phone into the Aux in of your PROFILER?
How is the Headrush connected and is this the only monitoring equipment connected?
Could it be that you have two XLR cables connected from the MAIN OUTPUT of the PROFILER to the two inputs of the Headrush and mixing those in the Headrush?
Oh , Ok . sorry for asking the "wrong" questions in an attempt to "narrowing in" on the problem ....

Just one thought : maybe the number of "Stomp´s" in every Rig
affects the startup time as well ? ( More data to "sort out" ........ )

I have "many" rigs because I use the KPA in my studio for other
guitarists and bass players and sometimes even keyboards
Tip : Compare your KPA startup time with your SmartPhone startup time just for "fun"

Well , some old tube amps take some time to heat up too
I´ve noticed that if I have 900+ rigs instead of 20 rigs in
the KPA , startup time is a bit longer , but then I start it a
little bit earlier, so it´s OK in the end anyhow

Sure but that was something new back then.
Of course , Beatles were pioneers in so many ways, and with "multitrack" (4 , then 8 tracks )
they really freaked out in new soundscapes and possibilities and made some fantastic music.

At the end of the day, what really matters is if the profile / rig sound
good in our ears or not, with whatever guitars we use .... Or ???
And there are probably as much opinions on what a "good" sound is
as there are members on this forum
