I am with you considering a slowing down in Updates regarding the player which seems to be different than Head/Rack/Stage. On the other hand there might also be some new features we might receive. E.g. still waiting for a mapping of my Kemper Controller in RM… yet possible with the player … will it be long for the iconic Kempers? Will it better? Different? Still excited after more than 5 years with my Rack … In todays world we get so much so fast. Waiting was standard a few years ago 🤓

I guess things might slow down due to additional updates of the player … but this update will be amazing!!!
It took me until the gig last week when I used the acoustic fx in parallel path for the first time … quite nice …

Well I think there should be different Layouts for Browser and Performance Mode.
I do not need the name of the performance but a bigger font for the FX. E.g. the name of the performance can be shown whilst banking up or down but as soon as selected it should disappear and only the names of the slots as well as the FX should be visible.

How do you record? I use the headphone out of the Kemper and there is not a single bit of latency at all. What you have to adjust is the buffer in your DAW corresponding to the adjustment in the asio4all driver (e.g. 512 should be on the DAW as well as in the driver). As long as this is compensated no probs with reamping as well as recording.

Some great sounds from that demo with Tone Junkie. The Slicer effect has never been possible really.
The slicer was all I was asking for. Cannot wait that much longer …
-
Christoph mentioned at Namm that there are plenty of improvements on the LIST. It will be there some time … maybe Kemper PUs will be first … cannot wait for the slicer …
-
Absolutely. I am yearning for a slicer for so long. Cannot wait for the next level OS.
By the way: Had a concert last weekend and so many have been quite enthusiastic about the tone of the Kemper. Amazing gear …

I am still waiting for something happening with my EQ-Button. So far quite useless.
Would it be great if we could use it to access additional functions or would it be great if we Head- and Rack-User would get a benefit compared to the stage user?
E.g. a high and or low shelf EQ … same price different benefits?!
What do you all think?

I always have my remote in our rehearsal location so have not the possibility to arrange the buttons whilst I am at home with my KPA.
I wonder if we could get a second view / additional view in rig manager to preprogram our remote „remote“. That would be great for me.
Furthermore I would like to assign certain buttons to certain effects globally as being possible with tab tempo...
thx in advance Kemper Team. It’s been three years asking … so much happened until today … is there a chance that it will be implemented soon?

Unthinkable there are other threads dealing with the same issue … I would be happy to have such option. There might be ways …
-
Probably eight
You can activate/deactivate the stomps … but basically way too much. Notes might benetzet c for activation of stomp „c“ a and cis for deactivation of the stomp 🤓
Anyway Cubase and/or my Kemper are crashing with Cubase PCs…

Hiya. I know what I was doing wrong … Output was profiler but input wasn’t. Now it does something though I have to get familiar with this logic as I need too many lanes for each small change at the profiler.

Thank you Musicmad.
How do you set up the midi track and enter values on the Kemper Track?
I am working with midi since ages but do not fully comprehend how to use this in Cubase.
Regards
-
Thanks. That was what I tried and haven’t been successful so far …
-
Hiya folks.
I could not figure out how to setup Cubase for automating the Kemper. Has anyone setup a project for Cubase that I can have? It is not working at all.
Thnx
Stefan

Three buttons = three sounds. All I need for a live show apart from fx… maybe triggered by AI

Unlucky you. Did the update today. No problems so far. Hope you get it fixed soon …

I think it is not that difficult. It is for sure necessary to provide the hottest signal to FOH during soundcheck. Therefore apply the 2-3 dB at the beginning. Afterwards as amateur band you have to make volume decisions considering soloing on your own as there is no chance the FOH guy is capable of adjusting volume for your lead stuff as he doesn’t know where to start or end … and sometimes little dBs are necessary.
And even currently you are not able to choose routing for separate stomps. It comes out as loud as a booster is dialed in and effects all outputs equally … no decisions can be made apart from Kone Cabs @ monitor out.
Simple problem simple solution … a master gain boost predetermined value.
P.S. With a wireless system you r able to listen to the pa. I am mostly playing small venues …
P.S. And yes new features always makes people wanting more but should have Kemper stopped developing Liquid Profiles only because people want more features afterwards? This amazing toy can be pushed further for sure …

I give it go at the next rehearsal. No cab at home. I then will let you know.
