Totally agree. This is one of the most versatile pack available on the market. With one single purchase (now discounted) you get all kind of tones you may need.

The latest version will be compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina?

Just for the ones who will come here by google search. I had the same issue:
- One pad is hard to engage the switch
- Two pads made the engaging too easy
I didn't wanted to change the switch, so my solution was placing a small silicon bumper (THIS) on the switch. Now it works perfectly, You just have to use the one tall enough to fit your needs.

Most recording studios I know use the 610 for recording bass and sometimes acoustic guitar..but I used it mostly for recording electric guitar(and "very vintage"-vibe vocals with a 47 ish mic)) with the 57/414 combo..
IMO a very underrated and somehow "misunderstood" mic-pre..you can get great "Rock'n'Roll" vibes with it.It has this vintage thing going on and one has to know how to use this.It is definitely no "clear" and "neutral" mic-pre..
Exactly! This is exactly why I used the 610 to "adjust" the inconsistency of the cab Clone. If it was neutral I wouldn't have got any benefit.

Yes, I used the preamp.

In my experience the Cab Clone itself did't matched the tone of the amp.
The UA Apollo Twin with UA 610 plugin helped so much in compensating the low quality of the cab clone.
So my routing was:
- Guitar > IN Kemper > Direct out > Amp
- Cab Clone (Amp) > UA Apollo Twin > (UA 610 plugin) > UA Line OUT > Return Kemper
-
Rigs Uploaded in Rig Exchange, too.

No, now it is official release, not the beta: Download
-
I have the latest Rig Manager version and firmware installed on the Kemper.
Actually I just drag & drop them via Rig Manager.
-
Ok, here they are!
Please consider they are the first ones I've ever made and that they are the result of the process described in my first post.
Enjoy!

I’m new to Kemper, so excuse my enthusiasm, but hey I’m impressed.
Not an orthodox way, but I profiled my main amp today, a Mesa Mark V:35.
I had to face 2 problems: 1. I don’t have mics; 2. Cab clone sucks.
So I plugged the amp via cab clone (vintage) to the input of an Apollo Twin, fine tuned the tone with UA 610 and then to the return of the Kemper.
That’s crazy how well the Kemper matched the amp tone. Both clean (fat) and Drive (Mk IV).
Can I share the rigs here?

Now that it is no more in “beta” , the 7.0.9 is more reliable?
-
I’ve tried to search extensively, but probably not enough.
I use a Mark V combo and I totally love how the Black shadow speaker (1x12) match the amp tone.
Apparently I can’t find a profile of the combo with the original speaker.
Anyone got one or can suggest me where to find/buy?
-
How does it work? When I buy a commercial profile I’m free to pass it to a friend or there are some licenses legal issues that I should know?
-
It would be ok to have some leveling that keeps the volumes within a range, not necessarily the exact same. Then you can fine tune, but at least you won’t have extremes.

Totally support this. I was here to write the same thing but I found your post.
It would be so much useful. I use headphones often and I don’t like to fight with extremely loud or quiet presets.
