The Albert Collins Rig is killer.

RipX isn't perfect - but it's *stupidly* powerful.

Mike Bloomfield in the house! An influential guitarist that is often overlooked. Caused by a combination of Hendrix' shadow, the fact that Michael wanted nothing to do with being a "star", and his suspicious and early death.
A white Jewish kid from the affluent side of Chicago who played in (and was accepted into) the Maxwell Street and South Side Blues scenes. The place where Muddy, Wolf, Willie Dixon, Hubert Sumlin, Buddy Guy and others made their names.
Bloomfield was in Bob Dylan's band when he went electric at the Newport Jazz Festival. A truly seminal moment in American music. His Tele can be heard all over that record. He was also the first American to embrace the '59 Les Paul Burst, after Clapton and others started using them.
Yeah.....I've read a little about the guy....

well depends what you use if for. If its anything to do with playing live and being flexible the yes, see you soon
I had the QC for 3 weeks and sent it back. I was so disapointed with the unit, especially the lag when switching presets
OMG....I liked the captures for the most part. The moment you put a delay or verb on it?
.....ewe. Digital Sameness.

Have we entered some sort of alternative universe? I would suggest to use selective hearing. If you'll simply stop hearing the notes you don't like then problem solved.
That's only for teenagers and husbands.

You missed the irony.
Sure did. 🤷♂️

Seems like all the brands want to build a Kemper successor except Kemper.
Imitation is not a successor.
-
I don't disagree but....ain't nothing like standing in front an amp turned up to (as Yngwie put it) "WHAT?!?"
-
good luck, enjoy the QC,
you might be back, once you realize all the things it won’t do
I wasn't gonna say it!!

I think on the original recording they tuned the guitars 2 steps up and play it open. They probably still play open but on standard tuning as we all know the high notes are harder to sing the older you get lol
I'd say they definitely tuned the guitars up a full step. Live video from '93. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the did that specifically for the look (and sound) of open-strings.

There isn't a Stage-only video. It isn't needed because the fundamental process is identical. Nothing it says is different for the Stage.
Some people do it in Browse by numbering or naming rigs a certain way so they sort properly. I think Browse mode is a lousy way to use the Remote (or the Stage's slot buttons) .
Performance mode allows you to assign which slot (1 through 5) a rig goes in. Those slots correspond to the footswitches.

Backup the Profiler and backup RM.
Restore the RM backup on the new machine and you should be golden. -
But the prick just happened to be Eric Clapton. The club owner can't afford him no more.
My stories always have a happy ending.
Clapton hasn’t played a way -off-the-beaten-path, blue-collar, polished steel for a restroom mirror roadhouse like this since he was a teenager.
The place exists as an anachronism to the modern era…… but it’s got a killer built in PA and the owner has a *mint* ADA MP-1, power amp and a set of vintage Galien-Krueger cabinets that look like they were made yesterday. Not a mark on any of it. -
But you are correct about veins popping in some instances. I ran sound last year for a band and the guitarist reached back and changed his master volume 2 or 3 times a song, ....
Reminds me of a club owner's story of a guy with a Fender Twin that he turned up to 6 and refused to lower it. There are very few local gigs where a Twin on the boil 'fits' in the mix.
The story goes that the guitarist was indignant and said "That's my sound. I'm not changing."
At the end of the night, the club owner was talking to the entire band and said (pointing at the other members) "You guys are great." Then he points to the guitarist "But this prick made sure you won't play here again."

That’s exactly what I was trying to say in lots of words but you said it much better and much more succinctly 👍
I've worked in the debt collection industry for the last 15 years. I've spent more time than I care to admit thinking of ways to explain process improvement in simple terms.
"Do you want your customers to pay you on time?" Yeah. "You need to do something like 'this'." But I don't wanna change!! "Then keep working 80 hours to compensate for lost profit." But I don't wanna!!! /return to start
That's oversimplified......but not much.

Not piling on, just wanting to emphasize and hopefully help you sort it out. I have no doubt that you're frustrated (been there, will be again)......
There is no way you should need Clean Sense at +12db.
This quote can't be overstated. There is no reason to have Clean Sense maxed out. It may have addressed a symptom, but not the underlying cause.
It's like taking pain medication for a toothache....and not going to the dentist. You feel better, but you haven't fixed anything.

Lower the amp volume when that happens.
-
What is the rig volume set at?
-
Hmmmm..... A video showing you this would save a thousand words.
I may have some time to throw one together later tonight. Unless one of the Kemper Faithful has or knows of one?
-
You have to copy the amp and cab individually. A rig contains everything.
Sorry you're having issues.
