FYI I have so annoying mid freq on the lester intro leads (Part1) on my monitors Thruth B2031A , seems less prominent on the fast following parts .
These nasty mids also show up on the rhodes solo , maybe worth checking , maybe it's just my monitors.
Thanks for the comments. I'm not getting the mid frequencies that you mention. I've listened on a lot of different sources and I didn't hear what you're hearing.
My second collaboration with my good friend Alan Petersen. This song will be included on my upcoming fifth solo instrumental album. The song is in two parts with the second being very much in the Latin rock feel.
This production was recorded and mixed with Cakewalk. The sessions were videoed and then edited in Magix Vegas.
I used 10 mics to record the drums, bass was recorded directly via the Kemper Rack, guitars were also recorded directly with the Kemper. Piano was played on the Yamaha P45 using the Rhodes patch. Acoustic guitar was an Ibanez Artwood. There were a few VSTs used for the “ambient” synth sounds.
My only regret was that I was unable to film the recording of the percussion tracks.

This is the first track for my next album. This song was a collaboration between an old school buddy and myself. Alan is a good friend from our school days where we played together in a band back in the 70's. Our old school band had a reunion in March this year where we recorded one of our songs. The song was written in 1973.
After the reunion Alan and I decided to start writing together and this song is the result. I used the Kemper for the guitar tones. Hope you enjoy.

Maybe remove the 4 rubber feet and use the srewholes to mount the Remote to the pedalboard? You have to drill 4 small holes.
This is exactly what I did. It works like a charm. In fact I've used this method for a number of other boards that I've made for other people too. The trick is to keep the rubber feet but fasten them from the bottom of the board.
But.....I wouldn't expect it to sound great without fiddling. It will be very easy to get it wrong.
My preference would be to take your own monitor speaker. I would hate to turn up to a new band and spend time fiddling with my sound or sound crap.
That hasn't been my experience. I've played quite a few festivals recently and had to rely on whatever backline was provided. It's ranged from Marshalls to Fender Deluxes and Hot Rod Devilles. The only problem I've encountered was with the Fender amps. The power amp input on those amps don't have any form of volume control. I've had to go into the monitor output settings on the Kemper and lower the level from there. I've now fitted a monitor level control on my board now which just makes things easier. The tone however has been great through all those amps. I do not miss my analogue pedalboard at all.

I've known David Myers for many years through buying gear from his company and never knew that he played piano. He mentioned one day that he'd like to record one of his original tracks and asked if I'd produce it. I was completely blown away by his composition and playing. This has been a most enjoyable project and I hope there'll be more like this from him. It was recorded and mixed in Cakewalk by Bandlab in my home studio (a converted double garage). Guitars and Bass were played directly into the Kemper, drums recorded with 10 mics and the piano was a Yamaha digital piano. I also used various soft synths as well as some patches from a Roland JV2080 hardware synth. As usual, we filmed the sessions...

I built my board a while ago and it's seen quite a few gigs without any hassles.
It's the best thing I've done as setup and pack up is a breeze.
The switches switch between a cable input (on the side of the board) and my wireless. The other switch will switch between the normal monitor outs (to a power amp input for stage) or the built in stereo power amp which I intend to fit inside the floorboard.
