i bought the PowerRack, stuck it in a Gator shallow 3U rack and just treat it like a tube amp head (tho MUCH lighter weight) it can get louder than i'll ever need to be, and my band is reasonably loud. some folks fret about how to power it and why playing thru a 2-way full range speaker doesn't feel like an amp. just buy the powered version, plug into a nice cabinet and you'll be very happy. i've owned/gigged/recorded over 150 tube amps since 1983 and my KPR into either of my cabs (Mission KM212P for larger stages and compact Egnater 112SX for smaller ones) sounds and feels as good or better than any of them. cheers and good luck!

I just zip tied my remote and Mission exp to my Gator pedalboard and it’s rock solid. No stick Velcro residue needed.

Yes, cab onstage and XLR DI to the house mixer. Sounds killer in PA; every sound tech I’ve worked with has raved.

I recorded this live onstage video this weekend with my little Zoom webcam to capture my onstage tone right off the cabinet. It's behind the mains, so, of course, the vocals are low and the guitar tone is more present, but that's what i wanted; just to capture my Kemper PowerRack/Mission 212 cab onstage. I'd love to hear more vids of Kemper being used live, so post away. (some of these tunes were never rehearsed of played together; we're just an old guy reddirt rock/country band playing for fun, so forgive the clams. i'm just winging 90% of what's on here, so it is what it is.)
cheers,

A) I’m no blues player at ALL, but I recorded this little iPhone clip off the cuff with a patch I built from a MBritt SRV profile.

I exclusively gig with my PowerRack/212 cabinet rig and it’s the best sounding, most fun to play live rig I’ve owned in 35 years and thousands of gigs.

Yes. Delay/Verb spillover and instant seamless switching is one of my favorite aspects of gigging with my PowerRack and cabinet.

I think you should try just MIDI out from Helix to MIDI in on Kemper. Both have to be on same channel or Omni. Hope that helps.

FWIW: I’m super happy gigging with my PowerRack into the Mission Engineering KM212P cabinet. I love the lightweight, clean and fast to setup rig. Every venue soundman has raved about the DI tone into the PA.

I have mine in a 3U shallow Gator and it’s fits perfectly.

All in new rig w/ PowerRack in shallow 3U Gator/Remote w/ ME Expression Pedal on Gator pedalboard and ME KM212P cab. I’ve been giggling and recording since 1983 and owned over 150 amps/rigs. This is my favorite live rig ever.
