Für den Bandmix/Gesang Keyboard usw.braucht man einen anderen Monitor.
Ansonsten ist der Kemper Monitor Out wie es der Name schon sagt nur für den Kemper auf der Bühne als Abhöre gedacht.
Was ja für Solospiel unbedingt nötig ist.
Wenn du natürlich nur Rhythmus spielst auf deiner Gitarre kann man das machen.
Klanglich kann ich mir da nur einen "Lauten Brei"vorstellen...
Kann es sein, dass Du in keinster Weise verstanden hast, wie ich den aktiven Headrush Monitor eingesetzt habe?
Hatte gestern die Gelegenheit, die Headrush Box live bei einem Gig, auch etwas lauter, zu testen.
Meine Erfahrung:
- die Box ist im Bassbereich etwas heftig. Deshalb habe ich am Kemper Monitor Out via EQ die Bässe etwas runtergedreht.
- ansonsten klingt die Box (gemessen am Preis) sehr gut und bringt den Sound der Gitarren und des Kempers gut rüber
- auch das Zumischen des Band-Mixes hat problemlos geklappt und auch war auch vom Klang her ok
Es ist richtig, dass irgendetwas an der Hardware verändert wurde.
Ich bemerke zwischen meinem Toaster (2015) und meiner Stage (2020) auch Unterschiede.
Beide werden mit dem identischen Backup gefahren, d.h. die Anzahl an Rigs, Performances, Effekte, usw. ist absolut identisch.
Allerdings bootet die Stage bedeutet schneller (mindestens doppelt so schnell) und reagiert auf Eingaben sofort, während der Toaster
leicht verzögert reagiert.
Von der Änderung im Bereich S/PDIF mit Master und Slave ganz zu schweigen.
Es muss also Hardware Änderungen gegeben haben!
Also ich habe kein Brizzeln.
Weder mit Toaster noch mit der Stage.
Tbh I tried his free profiles on the rig exchange... My expectations were super high, but my experience quite disappointing.
Most profiles did sounded "foggy" "dark" and kinda lifeless...
Am I doing something wrong?
From videos and people reviews his profiles sound phenomenal...
It can help to change the cab if you want to make M. Britts profile a little bit cleaner, less dark.
And by the way, a lot of guys here like M. Britts 2020 Pack!

I have some packs by M. Britt. But for some players, there are profiles of M. Britt, which sound a little bit „foggy“ or „dark“.
You have to try what fits for you.
Seriously? He's interested in high gain metal profiles and you try to recommend him MB rock profiles that won't work for metal?
Maybe the reason is, that all this high gain metal stuff sounds all the same.
You just need 1 profile for all the metal music.

GearJocke I do have a few more guitars I've tried them out on, but all of the pickups in said guitars are high output, I've noticed its not as bad with the Seymour Duncans in my mayones though. ke12345 I definitely understand where you're coming from, but since I've already purchased the profiles id really like to use them in a recording session and figure it out, maybe im just being stubborn, I just wanna get my moneys worth.

Na ja, im Prinzip wird der Gesamtmix zugemischt, halt ohne das Gitarrensignal.

Das wird kein Problem sein.
Denn in meinem Monitorweg ist das Gitarrensignal nicht drin.
Wir nutzen 6 Aux Ausgänge als 6 verschiedene Monitorwege und jeder
kann sich sein Signal vom Mischer so zusammenmischen lassen, wie er/sie es haben will.
Bei mir ist schon seit Jahren kein Gitarrensignal mehr drauf, da ich direkt vom Monitor Out
in mein In-Ear gehe und dorthin auch mein Aux Weg kommt.
Ich habe das mit der Diskussion um Kemper Kone bzw. aktive Monitore nur am Rande verfolgt.
Solange es die Kemper Box aber nur passiv gibt, ist das kein Thema für mich, da sowohl
mein Toaster als auch meine Stage unpowered sind.
Und eine extra Endstufe möchte ich aus unterschiedlichen Gründen nicht.

Normalerweise nutze ich In-Ears auf der Bühne. Allerdings möchte ich für den Fall der Fälle eine Box, welche sowohl den Kemper als auch den Gesamtmix in einer einigermaßen akzeptablen Qualität wiedergibt und preislich ok ist.
Die Headrush 112 hat ja 2 getrennte Eingänge.
Kann man die Box live als Monitor sowohl für den Kemper als auch den Mix der Band nutzen?
Also weniger technisch als vom Sound her betrachtet.

ke12345 They're not bad profiles by any means, actually, Abiotic uses them (not sure if you're familiar) and their recordings come out really tight. It's probably something a qualified engineer could take care of in a mixing and mastering session, but, there's a lot of knowledgeable people on here, so I thought id ask and have a go.
Meanwhile I use my Kemper for 5 years.
If a profile does not fit from the beginning, take another.
It‘s not worth the time.
Even if a certain band (I don‘t know Abiotic) use this profile.
There are so many usable profiles out on the market, save your time.
Buy/try different profiles?

Kann es sein, dass einer den Toaster bzw. die Rackversion und der andere die Stage meint?
Da gibt es nämlich große Unterschiede beim Monitor Out.
Space hat vorallem den Nachteil, dass es dazu führt, dass bei einer Stereo-Nutzung die beiden Kanäle (links und rechts) unterschiedlich laut bzw. auch zeitverzögert sind.
Wurde mir vom Support bestätigt.
Da ich live immer stereo ins Pult gehe, ist Space für mich damit gestorben.
