I wonder how much all of those external power amps could alter a profile's sound...
I updated my Stage to work with RM 3 and I've noticed that RM 3 recognizes all slots as performances.
Also, there is no more option to delete a performance with right click...
Work around: Copy a default (empty) performance on the slot which you want to delete -> Suddenly the author is C Kemper and there is a date added...
Have any of you guys noticed this as well, are there any other ways to delete performances?
This looks interesting. 45 watts at 8 ohms would yield a bit less than 90 watts at 4. If it's clean power, that's a solid, inexpensive option.
+1 Following for Kemper Stage after the Magnum 44 seemed a bad decision!
Bye bye EHX Magnum 44 plan haha
I guess I have to wait until Kemper decides to release the powered Kabinet.
I own a KPA Stage and I'm currently looking at the EHX Magnum 44 to power the Kabinet.
I check the input volume for each slot in my performances while the Kemper is connected to a DAW (in my case Logic).
Every slot reaches a max of -18db and I try to match the min volume as well (using rig volume).
That way I’m sure that all my slots are equally as loud.
It’s really not that complicated and the results are good :-).

(Became a Clayton USA and Pitbull strings endorsee, so a lot of strings and picks )
There should be an easy way to 'normalize' profiles I guess
I have been building my performances using a DAW to match the volume of each profile.
I had an answer about that earlier for Kemper Support and they told me that a clock would make the interface too 'crowded' as the stage's interface is different from the remote...
I'm confused about that though...
I'd love to see a clock on the Stage in the near future as well, it's nice to have feature
Apparently I had the stupidest solution to my problem.
Buy a new XLR, problem resolved.
Same thing on my Stage...
Sometimes turning it off and on again fixes the issue.
Awesome story Way to go Kemper!!
I'm having some really weird issues restoring my backups, so for me that's currently a no haha...
Thanks man, I'm definitely trying this one
I will do that.
Yeah I know it’s weird.
I was creating an alternative performance to one of my performances (renamed the slots and stuff) and made a backup of that.
Because of the fact that I was a bit too fast and I needed to restore to an older backup, I noticed that none of my performances restored (to an older state) although I had selected the right date.
I have always made a backup on a USB drive and I tried multiple dates.
Any idea what went wrong here?
I would expect that the slot names in a performance would change as well if I restored an older backup with different names...
Same here today
Ah...ok, thanks a lot.
No worries, they're great guitars though.
I guess most Gibson-minded people aren't up for flashy stuff like a Floyd.
I guess they play 'Authentic', whoops .
Thanks! The reason I'm asking is that I'm also looking for a (my first) LP. But there are so many models...I simply can't decide. I'd like to have one with a whammy bar (even though it's a break in style, I know) but the LP Axcess is very expensive. Alternatively I could imagine to buy a cheaper model and install a Floyd Rose FRX on it...
That's a great idea, although the whammy Les Pauls are 'less loved' by real Gibson aficionados which means you could find them 'cheaper' on the used market.
