Cool JVDW - Thanks for the info - will look into it and compare!
I found a stand from Italian company Proel which also looks very sturdy... just need to find a shop here in the Netherlands that sells or otherwise through Amazon..
it's not on amazon.com...
Right Chris - that surely looks good!!! That's probably what I'll go for myself - as long as it's steady enough - that's good for me - I don't use the remote but I use a Roland midi pedal to switch the Kemper through GigPerformer...
That's the setup in our studio and that't the same setup that we use live - I will only need to adjust something on the Kemper itself if I need some minor adjustments....
Good to see this... thanks!!
also a valid option Grix... Thanks
Hi, I was wondering if it would be more useful to only have 'clean' Rigs saved on the profiler and then use the Performances to put every needed effect on rigs in different slots...
Since it saves a copy of the rig in the performance, that might be a clean way to work?
No 'distraction' while listening and choosing the clean rig, and then as needed the extra added effects will only be saved in that slot...
So far I have been creating rigs with effects, but then when they are in the performances' slots I tend to adjust settings anyhow and the sound in the slot differs from the original...
How are you guys with longer Kemper experience approaching that???
Thanks Bob for sharing!! Ah Chris - so I'm not alone Ya please report!!! Those projector stands do look interesting...
And the initial user would have that little extra option to make the rig be found easier I think..?
Absolutely agree... but in my softsynth world i still need mouse and keyboard i’m afraid...
But this interface makes me want for more like this?
ya right? I feel the interface is very self-explanatory... buttons start to flash when it want you to react to something - I feel it's very intuitive!
ya Wheresthedug - I get that same feeling now - for the last 15 years or so I only did computer editing.... have had my toaster for a couple of weeks now and this feels so much easier
Thanks y'all, guys!! Some promising stuff amongst this!! Enough to think about
@JDVW, normally I did everything from an computer editor (with previous guitar effects) - I must say that the toaster's knobs feel great to work with so not sure if I want to go back to laptop editing as yet again.... at home maybe, but playing live the hands-on feeling like working a real amp is cool!
also an option MuddySludge
Hey Awesome... was there any of those that worked best in your opinion? Most stable for instance?
Well having the switches on the floor is ofcourse great so either a remote or midi floor board or a stage is cool...
But having the toaster and not using a cabinet or monitor on stage i was just wondering how other people handled that...
Ya I used a line6 podxtlive earlier but i only did editing on the computer..
It wasn’t really easy doing it on the floor... so i guess the Stage has the same flaw for me...
Having the toaster on my desk makes editing a breeze so live i want it at a convenient height as well..
The floor.
Ya ok - but not so convenient when wanting to adjust anything huh? But always available - I'll give you that
of een frikandel en vleeskroketjes
patatjes met plectrums en een gitaarkabel er tussen door!!!!!
hahaha the fake cab idea is great lightbox
could put up a giant hotdog too... geezz... could change it every gig!! got myself a new gimmick
only thing is that it takes quite some space while moving.. but I'll definitely keep it in mind!!!
Thanks Saint.. ya that looks promising.... i saw some other beamer stands.. a bit comparable but more like a small but high table with wheels..
This is more compact and smaller to carry too I guess..
Is it stable enough?
