I thought they used mesa boogie in the early days?

I use both the Kemper and the Helix.I am normally using the Kemper in the studio and the Helix in the living room ,but with the new firmware it could be the other way around. The Kemper still has the best (almost real) amp feel but its getting close. The ease of use of the Helix is way better and also the effects.
driver updates are a problem with all the audio interface maffia. They don't like it when we use their products
for too long.
I have the Focusrite 8i6 and it works great with the Kemper and Cubase. It has 2 headphone outputs and 2 seperate volumecontrols for the headphones.
Cubase users I need you're help. How can I use s/pdif in stereo?I use a focusrite scarlett 8/6 and cubase sees one tulip connection as mono and want me to use the outputconnection to make it stereo.
Thanks for the input guys. After a lot of trying, the winner for me is Cubase 12 artist.
It's crazy what you all can do with it.
The audio to midi and chord track is very handy especially when you struggle with hearing the right chord or remembering what you played in a track.I know it can be complicaded ,but I got the time I'am still young(62).
I was using logic 9,but when I upgraded my computer to sierra, logic 9 was not longer working.
I was so pissed off about that, that I didn't want to upgrade to X.
Now I have a windows computer whith working memory of 32Gb and a ssd with 1Tb.
When you want that in Apple, than you first have to sell you're car.
Btw I'am trying reaper now and I like it a lot.
Thanks for the reply's so far. That are 2 more DAW's I have to try.
Why does it sound so different then?
In the past I tried logic and cubase. Now I have trial versions of ableton, presonus one and bitwig.
They all have their pro's and cons.
With logic I had the problem that after an update to sierra logic 9 was not working anymore.
Cubase is powerfull but very difficult. With Ableton I had problems downloading it and I'am afraid of buying it because of that.
I have the free version of Presonus one 5 and it sounds the best, especially the Kemper via s/pdif.
Bitwig seems to have a problem with s/pdif it sounds harsh like their is no proper conversion.
I also have the Jamstik midi guitar and that works the best with Bitwig.
So I'am looking for a DAW which has a good s/pdif handling good multi polyphonic expression handling and not to hard to understand.
It was posted 1 april so I don't believe it.
I have the microcosm for about a month now and i really love it.
The signal goes from the send of the kemper via the boss sy1 through the enzo meris to a mixer.
This way i can keep this signal free from distortion(the kemper goes separate to the mixer).
But even if you are only using the microcosm you have to do a lot of turning the knops.
Switching the presets is only possible by turning a knop.
If you want to use it on a board and you dont want to sit down at you're knees all the time then a midi pedal is essential.
Iam thinking of buying an empty gasstation.Ive got enough gas to fill it up
Wow! that's something I really want.I hope they sell the whammy bar seperate,so ican use it easily on more guitars.
Problem solved after the new update.
I think you had the new Beta version and I never go there.
They also sound great, thanks a lot.
I can't use version 2.When I trie to load them,I got a message that something is broken or demaged in the file.
It's hard to say which one I like the best because their all very good.
I tried them with my Gibson ES335 and it's a match made in heaven.
For now I say number 5 and 25 but they still are all in the Kemper,so maybe tomorow with another guitar I go for different ones.
Also the more gainy ones are excellent.Normally I only like a clean Fender amp.
I'am impressed thank you very much.
In the video of Pete Thorn you can also hear the extra high in the tone,so Iam afraid that is typical for the QC.
I have 2 synth pedals working parallel with the kemper; the boss synth 1 and the enzo meris.
Not that I always use them but because they are between the send of the kemper and the mixing console,Ican switch them on or of with the mixing console.
I think the best thing you can do right now is ; go to youtube and follow some tutorials for cubase about direct monitoring, routing, latency, double tracking and more. You really need some more basic understanding about cubase.
