There’s an idea for the next version of the Kemper

In that case I’m not that bothered. As long as it’s not notable and loads.
Stupid question:
Usually on digital signals you can send more than 2 channels. I’m guessing with the Kemper being a SPDIF Output I can only send stereo, right?
Would be awesome if I could send both the dry stereo and the effects stereo seperate through the digital outs. -
Yes, that's the kind of converters you need.
I had good results with this particular model:

Be aware that you need 2 units if you plan to do digital reamping.
Regarding "just a cable adapter":
This doesn't exist because a cable in itself can't convert from an optical signal to electrical signal and vice versa.
thanks for the link!
Would a cheap one not do the trick? Is there really more latency going in digitally? If it’s a lot more it wouldn’t make sense for me to go that route then.
The only reason I’m planning to use the optical ins is that I can keep my analog ins free for microphones when recording acoustic guitars and vocals.

So I’d need a box like this:
LiNKFOR Bi-Directional Toslink to Coaxial Converter 192 kHz Optical SPDIF Toslink to Coaxial Toslink and Coaxial to Optical SPDIF Toslink Coaxial Converter Switcher with Optical Coaxial Cables https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0…_r_cp_api_i_nsz5Db0HKTSCMI was hoping there might just be a cable adapter.

The Kemper has a digital spdif output and my soundcard (UAD apollo twin) has optical inputs.
Is there a simple cable adapter I could use or do I need some sort of box to connect them?

Can we start talking politics in this thread? I think it's covered about everything else already, and will be about as productive.
The editor = Brexit
We know it’s coming but when? Or is it coming at all? And when it’s here will it be any good? -
Is there a realistic chance we’ll see it this year?
My hope is fading..

So, after looking at demos of loads and loads of commercial packs I like the overall sound of the Michael Britt packs.
Problem is he has so many packs and I’m thinking about starting with one of his bundles (pack 1, 2 or 3)
Those of you who own these packs, any tips which one to get first? -

Let’s face it, the only reason why it’s delayed is because they are obviously having some issues / bugs with it. Then at the same time Mac OS Catalina got released and it wouldn’t make much sense releasing any new software that isn’t compatible. I’m guessing they’re just ironing out the final issues and it’ll be ready soon. It’s not in their interest to hold it back but it’s also not in their interest to release anything that’s buggy as hell or already obsolete.

The Moog looks great indeed and is still within my price range. Thanks

Thanks for the recommendations. Unfortunately the Dunlop is too expensive for me.
I’ll have a look at the Zoom. Looks like a great price. -
... or if a threat about this already exists, please point me to it. Did a search but couldn’t find a threat with volume pedal recommendations.

After browsing around online I saw there are many great commercial packs. I already own one of the big Amp Factory packs which sounds awesome.
I’m looking to buy another pack which would be great for Indie Rock like eg Kings Of Leon sound.
Can anyone recommend a pack? There are just so many now...

I can’t wait for this editor. Will make my life so much easier.

Ah, thanks for that link!
So basically they used to flash in the speed of the delays but that's been removed and because they didn't update the hardware boxes we still get 2 LEDs even though the extra one has no function.
-
This is probably a stupid question.
I had a look in the manual and googled it but couldn't find an answer.
Why are there 2 LEDs for the delay? Are there 2 delays in the delay slot? If so I can't see how to activate both.

Do you mean drag the file inside the RM to a Rig? I tried that but I wouldn’t let me drag them anywhere.
I didn’t know it’s a new feature. I’m guessing some more info should come soon then.

I just posted about the same problem. The presets are there in the rig manager but the preview function is greyed out for me
-
I'm new to the Kemper and still getting my head around it.
I saw that in the Rig Manager Software on the left is a Folder called "All Presets" with several sub folders. I'm guessing the idea is that you can load a set of FX on to the current Profile you're running.
However I noticed whenever I click any of the presets in the rig manager the menu item "Preview in Profiler" and "store in profiler" is greyed out.
There isn't anything in the manual. Am I missing something?
