    Hey guys,

I thought I would share something that happened to me recently.

I bought a profiler stage brand new and when I tried to use the loops or the profiling part, I would get bad buzz and interferences.

I tried all possibilities of the ground lifts and noisegate to no effects.

It was impossible to profile because of the introduced noise.

I finally tried an Ebtech hum eliminator after the send and the pedals I use with my amps like so:

    Stage send -> buffer -> pedals -> hum eli. -> amp -> torpedo live -> interface/DAW -> stage return.

It is now dead silent, even an boosted 5150III no gates whatsoever.

In the end I think it is the electrical network's fault introducing a lot of feedback noise on the ground and creating ground loop.

Consider a hum eliminator of some sort if experiencing hum and buzz.

    Cheers

    hey dahla

Thanks for the answer, it'd be cool if you can share the news later ^^

Mine is a brand new Stage, so I hope it is not faulty.

Yeah I can imagine how it is missing ?(

I really hope it is software related and it can be fixes asap.

Looks like the the level/noise ratio is f'd up but only when using hi gain tones. So maybe something was changed.

Anyway thank you and I hope you'll get your kemper back soon

    Hey dahla,

I'm getting kind of the same noise when using the fx loop on a kemper stage and it's annoying because it translates to the profiling process.

Introducing a lot of noise and sometimes making the process for hi-gain amp profiling impossible.

Did you have the same issue when profiling, if you tried?

And can you keep us up to date with what came back from the kemper HQ?

If it is software or hardware related, hoping it is a software problem and not an unit problem.

    Thanks??
