It seems to be working better. But, the performance slots seem to be missing on a few of the slots. You can click on where they "should" be and they will appear.

The same happened to me as Oscillator. I think it is back, but will let everyone know after I go to the studio. FYI, I AM ON MAC.

I have owned a power head for a couple months now. I have spent COUNTLESS hours on work arounds. I just updated to the finally released non-beta rig manager with editor and new OS. Now I seem to have to learn NEW bug work arounds. Is this really the way the Kemper works?
I want to edit performances. I am a professional player and wanted this solution (kemper) to make my life EASIER....... Please Kemper, get it together or I will go back to my old 50 year old marshall. It has never been this much hassle!
Is there someone I can call to get help? This is getting embarrassing for Kemper-amps.
now all the rigs in my best and most used performance all the slots are back to "Crunch"
I am close to done with this. It has also rearranged quite a few slots in performances that had different amps in them.

doesn't seem too important to Kemper-amps.
PLEASE!

Many people need to eq the monitor out. Me and thousands others. The FOH sound is great, but need to eq my monitor out.

it sounds to me like there is a "linear" mode. the only problem with acoustic guitars, is there may be some info above the range of the acoustic that will be gone. But not much. The linear setting will allow all of the 'amp and cabinet' sounds to flow through this speaker. That way when there are different cabinets with the profiles they will be represented.
It is a really good idea! good for C.Kemper and team?

Great! Thanks.
I think this would be the correct switch, isn’t it?that will work!!

nice Neumann km 86. I have one of those. and I love it!!

Thank you!!!!
I will do that, as I have already profiled both!

scratch17:
I did a search on the forum and you are the only one referring to a DAP. What is it?
Direct Profile (no cabinet)?
Rich
Why not make direct amp profiles specifically designed to be used with a Kemper Kabinet? Just select the imprint you want with the DAP.
I plan on using the DAPs I've made of my amps with the Kabinet.

check CE Distribution. they have the pot that fits.

I just turned a volume pedal to an expression pedal. You just need a 10 linear pot for wah and a MOMENTARY switch for on and off. Works fine.
the "wiper" of the pot goes to the "tip" of the tip ring sleeve "stereo" jack. I don't remember which other wires to to ring and sleeve, but the worst case it it will work backwards and you can switch the other wires.

For a solid state amp the impedence won't matter as much as with a tube amp. you will be fine either way. I have used the Kemper at 4 ohms fine. I would expect the Kemper will be louder at 4 ohms than at 16.
with a tube amp it is more important, but usually tube amps have more taps on the output transformer to match other speakers.
Either way, I would not wire speakers up at less than 4 ohms total for either. A super reverb is tapped to take a 2 ohm load, but not many others.

I am in a few bands, and do shows with bands I produce. The Kemper powerhead/remote seems amazing, but so much to learn.
I have profiled my main rig both with cabinet and without. I like them both.
Now I would like to be able to send the "merged profile" to foh and remove the cabinet for stage.
1: Can I make my own IR? If not.I probably could find one that I like for FOH from the ones available. My speaker is a 4x12 with scumback M12-75s which is just a really good greenback.
2: Can I use a merged profile to FOH and listen on stage to my cabinet with the CAB off. I have already tried that with profiles I have, but they weren't merged and I think the Kemper just has to guess (and it guessed wrong). This way I can just take my little 2x12 scumback loaded marshall to rehearsals and small gigs.
Thanks for everyone's help!!!!

Digbob. the speaker is not that f12 x200 it is the K12H-200TC. the only difference seems to be that the kemper one is 4 ohm and this speaker is 8 OHM.
-
If you are using a solid state power amp most will go down to 4 ohms just fine. If you have a powered kemper, it will work fine at 4 ohms, but, according to the manual, when you get really loud it will go in to a protection mode and cut out when it gets to full power.
I have had it really loud with my powered kemper and it's fine. Playing loud on a big stage. Now, its not 2 marshall stacks loud, but if you need that, then you will have a really big monitor rig anyway and they can blast you.
