Kemper Into front end of guitar amp

    I sold the crap power amp I had
    can't afford a matrix or camplifier yet


    all I have now is my Mojave (non master volume marshall type amp) so going into the front of it
    sounds way better, but I still have no clue what I'm supposed to hear as far a s a flat response
    more and more I feel I need a PA type solution


    anyone go into a front of amp and if so, do you put all the amps' eq at noon?

    You're adding the coloured preamp stage. "Noon" in such a context does not even remotely equal "flat". Set it where ever it sounds best to you.


    The best option is a "flat" SS amp. You don't need a Matrix or any of the so called specific "modeling" power amplifiers. Most sufficient wattage ss amplifiers will do fine. I have a Matrix myself, but only because it's light weight.
