LOL - great attitude!
it ain't a perfect world out there. Tagging "perfectly" is almost as difficult as e.g. agreeing on a nomenclature in certain areas of medicine or technology.
I have a very strong atteintion to detail too - however I have learned over the years, that in many cases even just 2 people cannot agree on a system and yet get away with it very well for the most part - marriage/relationships! 
If you come up with a good draft of how to tag systematically - i'd be willing share some of the work.
