can someone recommend a place in the UK or US where I can buy a remote and get it shipped internationally (Australia)?

AFAIK you can order the remote only via the Kemper shop (see homepage). There are bundles (KPA and remote) which can be purchased in other web stores, but not the remote only.

Thanks mate.. Problem is everytime I go to the Kemper online store it diverts me to the Australian importers site and they don't expect to get it for another 4-6 weeks

.... I jumped behind a VPN and had a look.. Even if I could order it the site says '105 days delivery time'.... Dammit!!

At the moment that seems to be the way it is. Obviously there is great demand for the remote.
