I find many profiles don't respond well to my external od pedals too...so I pretty much just use the green scream or combinations of boosts, but today I tried a Jan Ray od in front of the Kemper . Similar results...
doesnt work well with most of my profiles, but it did sound amazing with MBritts mini tweed pac, which is a 56 tweed Pro and a 56 tweed Twin.
This was using an old Strat w grey bottoms.
