Powered Speaker into headphones?

    Hi,sorry if this is a dumb question...


    I want a setup to practice at home with mp3's and sometimes session with a drummer.


    I prefer to use the same setup if possible,so i dont have to fiddle with different presets etc...


    Most powered speakers have no headphone "out" and many guitar modellers have no "aux in".
    So...


    Can i plug in headphones into the speaker xlr "thru" of a JBL Eon 610 for example? (the thru is pre-master vol).


    I was thinking of using something like a passive headphone amp ( ART HeadTap http://artproaudio.com/product/headtap-headphone-tap/ )


    The idea is to plug GuitarModeller+ MP3 into the JBL and have the option to go "silent" by simply lowering the "Master" to 0 and donning the headphones.


    Maybe there is a better ,easier way to do this?

    Well,this being the Kemper forum that is the logical answer...but i do not have a Kemper profiler yet :( ,my bad.


    Like i said many modellers or "pedal" amps come without an aux in...
