Here comes a great song written by Lee Rice . Lee wrote the whole song , music & lyrics and sang it beautifully, He also played the acoustic guitar part.
I did the production work from the original stems and played the background electric guitars. Still practising my production skills, but pretty proud of the results as the original stems were done on the road with limited gear , while Lee is travelling the world since 5 years , on 500 different places.
I had quite a hard time to play the Lap steel / slide parts : using a heavy dunlop Tone bar on my super low action Ibanez was a fret buzz nightmare , but after like 40 takes I did it.
The natural reverb arrived in a perfect timing to be part of this collab production
