Thank you so much for this thread, I lowered my EMGs on my Schecter C1 Hellraiser FR and all of the sudden all the profiles are so clear, bright (not harsh) and full of dynamics. I was so disappointed that all my commercial profiles sounded boxy or dull. High gain profiles were so muddy and had a clipping sound, specially when playing the low E string. If anyone has this problem try lowering the pickups, playing with the definition (for me the higher the brighter it sounds), compressor and clarity parameters. The Soldano Britt profiles sound sooooo good after fixing this. I love them can't wait to start recording now.
