Problems connecting Profiler Rack to network

  • So - I've updated to the latest OS, plugged a network cable from my unifi switch into my Kemper - and, nothing...


    The switch isn't showing anything connected to it (ie: the little light that shows up when connected). The lights in the ethernet jack of the Kemper flash occasionally, but more like a heart beat than the normal twinkle twinkle you get from normal connections.


    I can't see anything in any system settings that you need to adjust.


    Any folks smart enough to know a solution?

  • Obvious question, but which OS version did you update to? Definitely 8.5?


    On the stage, page 9 of the system settings is where the networking stuff lives, though obviously in the case of the toaster/rack that may not be relevant...

  • There is no network setting for PROFILER Head and Rack models. Although we never published this - because it was lacking purpose - this network connection via ethernet cable works since years. So you don't even need OS 8.5 for that part. You just need OS 8.5 to communicate with Rig Manager for iOS(R).
