While I was have fun profiling the KPA I took the opportunity to make a DI profile of my friend's Vintage Hiwatt and JCM800
It all went fine with the Custom 100 but not with the JCM800.. I did a clean profile and saved..then the KPA was soundless freezed..I had the second soft button light up and behind was written DSP error
Not a full screen error detailed thing..just DSP error in small letters under the button..and no more sound..I rebooted the unit..it worked until I selected again this rig..Rebooted again and deleted it and all seemed to work..I started the profiling process again and... it did the same..after a third try I decided to stop and try it on the other KPA..I thought something was fucked up so I cleaned the first machine and started the profiling on the other while the first was restoring..and guess what..it did the same on the second KPA
I then tried a totally different sound on the Marshall and this time it worked
Bottom line only God (and Christoph) knows what a bad profile can do
Funny DSP error
