Library manager petition

    Sorry for my bad English, I hope you understand basic idea.


    KPA very, VERY necessary normal library manager!!! Present manager extremely uncomfortable. When we have over the 100 profiles, they may be highly different and require more identification in manager menu. We may have highgain sounds, crunch, clean, acoustic sim and other instruments (like banjo), as well as bass profiles, FX sounds. And not it all! Anyone of these groups may have subgroups – for example, highgain may be modern or oldscool (dirty, evil – whichever !). Also a crunch – modern, vintage, hard or soft crunch – and all these features needs present in manager menu! Because sorting by standard basic characteristics is very generalized and not accurate.
    Most elementary way – to have separate folders. By each group and feature..
    BUT! No factory static names! Only your original names, because, we are, like users, want to allocate profiles like we wish.
    But there is another, more fastidious but versatile way…
    Tags.
    Tags is not folders, is a subcharacteristics of profile. They written in profile. You fill tags yourself . For example:what's that sound? It is may be crunch, it oldscool, FX, it dirty, and it lowgain. Fine! It s all – characteristics of this profile. And present characteristics we can write like items of tags. Each item fill up youself, because it is no objective features but subjective. When we fill in tags one item and name it, this name appear and displayed in view menu in manager – crunch, HG, dirty, oldscool, FX itc.. And we seek and choose needed profile by means of this items. In the future, any other profile may be marked existing item of tag, accordingly, this profile now belong to this tag. Also others, which marked present item.
    Also, we must have possibility fill tags by amplifers – something, we need change amp but lock cab, and we want select sought-for amp, well, let's say, Marshall. Locks cab, choose in tags «Marshall» and scroll it.


    But why tags so expedient ? Because one profile can belong different items of tags, and it is comfortable for searching and sorting. So far as single profile contain a lot of characteristics, it is require adequate sorted . But in case of folders, this means is not comfortable – one profile need to be physical copy by many folders, what take away memory. Tags – is decision, wherein singl profile can be represented by different attribute without its copy or changes.
    As an exception – factory or autors profiles and packs may be contain pre-tags with information about autor, amp-cabs, type (highgain, overdrive, clean) . Other subjective characteristics we supplement by himself.
