Two questions from someone who's extremely MIDI rusty:
1) Can I configure my GR20 to do rig up/down on the KPA? Based on what I've read in the GR20 manual I'm thinking probably, but let me know if I'm wrong about that.
2) Can I use the GR20's expression pedal to control either the KPA volume or KPA wah depending on which rig I have active? This one I'm not so sure about.
For those interested, I grabbed a MIDI cable last night and the answers are yes and no, respectively.
The pedal normally transmits CC7 in Uo mode, but if you set the expression pedal to FL or EF in a patch, it will transmit CC4. That doesn't help much, since the Kemper doesn't have the ability to use CC4 as a universal controller.
You could use a second pedal, plugged into the back of the Kemper....
