If you're using the Rack or Toaster, no. When using an effects loop, the alternative input is used and can't do both.

I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but figured I would share it here in case someone has a solution I haven't thought of.
Can you have an external effects loop connected and at the same time use the alternative input for a mono input from an iPad/iPhone.
Basically I just want to have a looper in the effects loop of the Kemper, but also be able to use my iPhone to pump backing tracks through the Kemper/Kabinet. I mean I can disconnect the effects loop and connect the ipad, but if I can have both at the same time without disconnecting/reconnecting that would be cool.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks! Jesse
