Gotta save something for Musikmesse is my guess, but you never Know we may get a total suprise.
& what a great suprise that would be

i'm still counting on it
Surely there will be a pedal THIS year, but I wouldn't count on NAMM; which is next week.
lots of buzz on the GP & other forums & here are talking about the 2 releases(rack & amp) from KPA @ Namm, that is great news for some of you, & i'm happy for you, i was waiting for a dedicated amp( that is totaly out of the question, will not send mine to germany) , i can live w/out the amp, but i have been waiting for almost a yr for the kpa f/c, i will be very disapointed if there is no F/C this year, i will wait til after NAMM to see if there is one or not, if not, my KPA will go up for sale, i dont want to deal with trying to setup or modifying a diff brand f/c , oh well , i still have hope for the kpa f/c, i'm hoping this is just a well guarded secret..
Do you guys know who the fat guy is in my photo?
howard dumble....
thanks, tried that also..
Display Morerdwilson, try to connect the power block as follows:
KPA - L- out ---) PB -L- line in
KPA - R- out ---) PB -R- line in
PB - L - speaker out ---) CAB L
PB - R - speaker out ---) CAB R
The BRIDGE /MONO switch must be disengaged (out position)
i'm afraid you are correct, it isn't worth having repaired, must have been bad from the start , i purch new, just never tried the rt channel till now
Looks like your powerblock is brocken, take it in for repair.
thanks, i'm just trying to use what i have currently ( but was thinking of 2 x 44 magnums,oh well), i have tons of gear, just dont want to lug bulky heavy stuff around anymore (bad back & rt knee), in fact i have identicle amps at my shop & at the drummers jam room CARVIN V3 's W 4x12 cabs, because i dont like to move gear anymore, & as far as waiting, i'm getting tired of it(not very patient, only thing i want from KPA is F/C..
I've tried the Magnum 44 with the KPA a few times in music stores.
Yes, it works, sounds very good as the cheapest possible lowish volume solution.
But, why not wait for the Kemper poweramp or buy the built in poweramp that's currently available.
PM sent, thank you
I use the crate setup with a cabinet. I have the monitor out connected to the line in and then setup my Kemper to use the master volume knob to control the monitor volume. You could also run the mains into the line in using a y cable. The left...right...mono connections are speaker outputs as the crate can run in stereo. Let me know if this makes sense. I can send you some pictures if you pm your email.
thank you, thats what i was worried about..
To be honest I don't think Magnum 44 will cut it with a loud drummer and 2 other guitar players. I'd save your money and find another solution. There is a review of the EHX Mag 44 at Musician's Friend from someone who tied it with a KPA (not a positive review). The comment was that it has no headroom.
thanks , just tried your way , no right chan, i ran to r/shk for 1/4 adapters=rc... any other ideas welcome.. PS i have always hooked up my own gear thru the yrs, have'nt messed w/modelers for a long time (yrs), maybe the old memory isnt so good anymore...

paults, thanks for reply, P/block is not working w/ L & R speaker outs, also tried to go from PB aux in to kpa master out = only one side works, explain to me how toConnect the Kemper to the red and white "CD In" thanks , roger
Display MoreThe Powerblock can "run out of both outputs" (Left and Right).
Connect the Kemper to the red and white "CD In"
or
Connect the Kemper to the Left and Right "Line In" .
sorry if this has been brought up before, & i have searched & read till my eyes hurt, i am thinking of purch the mag 44, i will be running thru 4x12 cab, will it have enough power & headroom to use without getting into breakup( the mag 44) ? i am hoping some one has used this setup, & will post, i play loud R&R with a loud drummer & 2 other guitarist= hard rock/ southern rock/classic rock.. but also play a couple of CLEAN songs (thats another concern for the head room) i have a crate powerblock that i purchase new a few years ago, but it wont run out of both outputs, so if the 44 mag will work, i would probably end up getting 2 of them ( small & portable) please let me know , thanks roger
did this video ever get posted ?want to make sure i didn't miss it.
Roger, it might have been me referring to Andertons Kemper clinic I recently attended, I think it's under the user and dealer thread. Anyway the long and short of it is that it was videod. Manfred from Kemper ran through all of the functions and you could hear how it all worked. I think it'll give you what you looking for. The event was only a couple of weeks ago and I haven't seen it so I guess it's still in production. I'm sure they'll post it when it's available.

i'm not sure on which forum i was on about a week ago, but remember reading about someone putting together a dvd on operation of the kpa, i did a search on this forum, & the gear page, but no results, maybe i was dreaming, i was 1./2 asleep , anyone have any info ? whith my work schedule, i barely have time to even play the kpa for 30 minutes a couple of time a week, really dont have time to learn how to operate it,thanks, roger
