Check if the output source of the MONITOR OUT is really Master Mono and not Master Left. When it's set to master Master Mono it mixes left and right at original level.

Make sure your input signal for left and right has really same level. There can be issues with the cables and plugs feeding for example signals from a smart phone. But if your headphones have left and right signal at same level, this should be ok.

Compare your Input Settings in the two Modes:

They are Locked, by default, in Performance Mode.

They are Unlocked, by default, in Browse Mode.

It's the other way around: locked by default in Browser Mode, not locked by default in Performance Mode.

The idea is, that in Browser Mode you test sounds, one time with guitar A, next time with guitar B. When you change guitars you adjust mainly Clean Sens once and it sticks regardless which Rig you load. In Performance Mode many users organize by songs. So a Performance contains the sounds of a song and the guitar for this song is determined. Clean Sens for this guitar is stored and gets loaded with the Performance . is therefor not locked.

If you want to do all these with just one pedal, you could set up your expression pedal as Morph Pedal and activate MorphPedal to Wah. Now you pedal could morph for example the Mix parameter of a delay effect from 0% to x%. At that time no wah effect should be engaged, otherwise you would trigger wah and morph at the same time. So you would probably want to prepare different Rigs for different situations. To boost you could either morph Rig Volume or use Wah Pedal Booster effect type which is flexible to either just increase volume or pre amp drive the amp into higher saturation.

You control this via the Output Sources of the outputs you use. You can choose mono or stereo sources for each output except HEADPHONES as needed.

One KEMPER Kone is driven by the MONITOR OUTPUT with Output Source set to "Master Mono". This same setting applies if you own a powered PROFILER and connect the Kone to the SPEAKER OUTPUT. That output source mixes left and right signals at the output even if you leave the Aux In at stereo.

The Aux >Mono feature is intended for a different application: You use a stereo output, but are just feeding a mono signal into Aux In with one cable, and would like to hear that mono signal on both sides of your stereo output. Aux >Mono merges left and right signals at the input.

It's still not absolutely clear, which name you are referring to. In Performance Mode you have

    Performance Name

Slot Name (five Slots per Performance)

    Rig Name (one per Slot)

At the beginning Slot Name follows Rig Name, but Slot Name can be edited independently from Rig Name. Details can be found in the chapter "Performance Mode" of the Main Manual - just three pages.

Performance Name can be edited under Edit/Performance Tags/Performance Name

Slot Name can be changed under Edit/Slot Settings/Rename Slot

Rig Name can be edited under Rig Settings/Rig Tags/Rig Name

All three tags can also be changed via Rig Manager.

Have you tried to hold the Record/Playback/Overdub button after the first recording. It stops recording and immediately enters overdub. If you release the button it returns to playback.

If the Wah bar on page Pedal Links in Pedal Settings of your Stage follows you pedal movements from min to max, the pedal assignment seems set up correctly. Make sure, that the range pot of the Moog expression pedal is set to maximum for optimum resolution of the pedal.

Not sure, what you really did, when you "inserted a Wah" via Rig Manager. A complete effect consists of an effect type and all its settings. There are ways to just change an effect type as such, but maintain all other settings, which can be useful. In your case it might be better to start with an effect preset, which includes type and settings. For a wah I would start with the preset "Cry". You can select this via front panel (open a module e. g. C and turn the BROWSE knob to select "Cry" from the list of wah wah presets. You find "Cry" also in Rig Manager under All Presets/MyProfiler and could drag & drop it into the effect module of your choice.

But what is the exact problem?

The bin file doesn't require extraction, it just needs to be stored on the prepared USB memory stick. And that stick then needs to be plugged into the PROFILER.

The zip download package does includes a document with step by step instructions how to update the PROFILER via USB memory stick. At which step do you have/had issues?

    You can't.

You decide globally, if you want to use the KEMPER Kone full-range or with imprints. If you activate Monitor Cab. Off, you are globally in Imprint Mode. Now you can select a Speaker Imprint globally and can optionally overwrite the global selection by a local Speaker Imprint selection in a Rig (or cabinet preset).

With Monitor Cab. Off activated globally, you cannot return to full-range locally except if you load a Rig with the cabinet module being switched off or empty. In this case the OS assumes, you intend to play acoustic guitar through a Direct PROFILE and switches into full-range more automatically.

Perhaps a misunderstanding? If you unzipped the zip-file already and find the kaos.bin in the folder, no other extraction is needed. Sorry, if that is too obvious.

We offer a document for download - we call it Main Manual - which includes this:

    Considerations Regarding Noise and Hum

If you’re PROFILING a very high-gain sound, you’ll probably hear a certain amount of noise from your guitar amp. This is the well-known “high-gain hiss” and nothing unusual. However, if you detect hum, or other noisy artefacts, from your reference amp then you probably have a ground loop. Press the GROUND LIFT button on the back of the PROFILER Head or Rack for both the MAIN OUTPUT and the RETURN. The PROFILER Stage has no physical ground lift switches, but instead provides ground lift options in the Output Section. If that does not solve the problem, try different combinations using the other GROUND LIFTs. It is important that at least one of the GROUND LIFTs is not activated to ensure that the PROFILER has at least one ground connection.

üRemember that hum and noise is undesirable and might have a negative influence on the PROFILING process. Often, the best results are achieved by activating the GROUND LIFTs for all outputs except for the DIRECT OUT / SEND 1.

    danke für die Erklärung ?

Jetzt ist es so, ich hab kein kpa cabinet sondern nutze eine dxr10 mit der ich voll zufrieden bin. Bei cleanen oder verzerrten nutze ich kone on,bass on aber keine imprints. Klingt echt gut.

You could give your USB sticks meaningful names e. g. "7.1.5" for the stick with the OS for the PROFILER working with Rig Manager 2.3.14 under Windows 7.

The kaos.bin of 7.1.5 has a creation date of Dec. 4th 2019, while the latest kaos.bin is more current.

    USB sticks with different colors.

And the PROFILER always indicates the OS version currently installed plus the OS version on the stick, before you confirm an update.

We have just published 7.3.0 release with the following innovations:

    Rig Manager 3.0.117 required!

    Audio

added: Speaker Imprint selection for KEMPER Kone in cabinet module to opprtunistically overwrite global selection in Output Section

    User Interface

fixed: "E" always popping up in Performance Mode after 10 seconds

fixed: odd "Cent" display in bubble tuner

fixed: wrong greying out of SEND 1 settings, if backup of classical PROFILER model gets restored on Stage

fixed: accidental abilility to morph global continuous settings of KEMPER Kone (Directivity and Sweetness)
