If you could lock effect modules just within a Performance, how would that work, when you enter that Performance? Nothing is restricting you to maintain exactly the same effects in all five Slots. So the locked starting scenario would depend on the Slot you start with? So for example if you load Slot 1 first, module A with a Compressor and module DLY with a Single Delay get locked until you leave that Performance and if you load Slot 4 first, module A with a Booster and module DLY with a Melody Delay get locked until you leave the Performance? Or could even the locks vary by entry Slot? While Slot 1 locks module A and DLY, Slot 4 locks module B and REV?

I'm wondering if what you have an mind could be achieved by a global option "Maintain On/Off State of all Modules within Performance". Then it's up to you, if you store the Slots with identical or different effects.

I find no issues importing Rigs with the older extension .kipr with current software revisions. It works via USB memory stick as well as Rig Manager.

If I bring the cabinet module into focus and turn the BROWSE knob, regardless if I select Presets or From Rigs I have the option Autoload available under soft button 4, which is even activated by default.

Connect SEND and RETURN via a simple TS patch cable. Then take a PROFILE (Clean and No Cabinet) of just that cable. If that works, the issue has nothing to do with PROFILER nor OS update.

Beim Editor wird man dieselben Parameter sehen und die bewirken dasselbe und entweder vertraut man auf seine Ohren oder liest im Handbuch nach, was die Parameter machen. Alles was sich mit dem Editor ändert ist, dass man zum Ändern der Parameter eines Effektes nicht durch Seiten blättern muss. Und man muss sich nicht zum Stage auf dem Boden herunterbeugen. Eine künstliche Intelligenz, die automatisch die eigenen Soundvorstellungen umsetzt, ohne dass man sich mit den Parametern inhaltlich auseinandersetzt, wird es nicht geben - zumindest nicht in der ersten Editor-Fassung .

Ansonsten arbeiten wir - einschließlich unserer Beta Tester - mit Hochdruck daran, den Editor so performant und stabil zu bekommen, dass wir ihn veröffentlichen können.

As soon as you select "Monitor Stereo" another output source setting for the MONITOR OUT takes effect. This might be set to "Off". Chose for example "Master Stereo" and activate "Monitor Cab. Off".

Yes, at 1000 Rigs the PROFILER is fully stuffed. We recommend keeping much less Rigs on the PROFILER: those that you really play. Dialing through a list of 1000 Rigs is not efficient. Perhaps you can use Rig Manager on another PC to manage your bigger sound collection.

Man kann jederzeit den Sound wechseln. Wenn man nicht möchte, dass sich beim Sound-Wechsel auch der Sound der aufgenommenen Loop ändert, muss man Looper Location auf "Output" stellen. Dann wird hinten in der Signalkette aufgenommen und abgespielt.

This feature is activated by default, but can be deactivated.

If the electrical resistance of the internal pot doesn't "travel", the PROFILER can't recognize a movement.

The reason might be, that we see the EQ as integral part of the amp nowadays. You find the EQ mirrored on page 4 of the amp module and the Stage doesn't even have an EQ button nor module. We are considering future innovations which tailor the EQ more to the particular amp.

If you intend to adjust your sound globally, the output EQs might be the logical choice anyhow.

Is the FV-500L plugged in the analog signal chain between guitar and PROFILER? And just the FV-500L is connected to one of the PEDAL sockets of the PROFILER (or Remote) via a TRS cable?

Yes, the OS with file size around 13 MB is the one for the Stage. If file size is around 7 MB, it's the OS for classical PROFILER models.

Man kann natürlich nicht gleichzeitig Wah Pedal Boosten und Wah Effekte mit dem Pedal steuern bzw. das funktioniert schon, macht aber wenig Sinn. Aber vielleicht kannst Du Dir die Rigs entsprechend organisieren. Über das Morphen kann man auch einen Boost organisieren, aber dann ist natürlich das Morphing in dem Rig blockiert. Über die Effekte könnte man sich ebenfalls einen Boost organisieren.

Expression pedal not at heel is not sufficient. Only at full toe position programming of the Morph Sound takes place intentionally. And the programming is temporary until your store the Rig or Performance.
