Wait for 5.0 :)!
Also +1 to ingolf's suggestion of the Zoom units. They are quite cheap but do really have some decent sounding effects.

Sounds great
Awesome, nice that it all worked out It sounded like an OPAmp running on a too low power supply voltage...
Check the output menu, maybe your direct output/send is configured wrong? Not sure if the setting of direct out will be overwritten when using the loop...
I always wondered about the legal point of making profiles of commercial profiles....
Why would anyone want a simulation of a real amp, when we can get closer with the profile from the real amp directly ?
Why not? If it sounds good?
Only use morphing for a solo boost... free'd up my X slot though, which is nice
Interesting, thanks for the guide
Might also be useful for the guy who accidentally his Kemper.
Edit: Nevermind... I wrote BS
As the Kemper is running a web server (I think) to communicate with the remote it might be possible in theory. But how do you want to power the Remote?
Works absolutely perfect here. I think the UI was a bit faster in 3.x but that could be imagination as well.
I play the KPA live all the time (since nov 2011) and I had 2 reboots in all those years. Those were with the very early beta firmwares with the CC #0 bug where the firmwares were names like 7493. Man did those vintage firmwares sound good (kidding).
Yeah, just use the mix parameter
I don't understand how Bias Head is different from the CK's patent linked here before...
If I'm not mistaken then BIAS actually just works with a tonematch. So it mimics the EQ but nothing else. You have to set up the amp yourself to sound close to your reference amp, then you match it to get closer. While this works quite well, profiling is superior on many levels.
Yeah, that really looks nice
Does it sound better now?
Maybe try the official release instead of betas... it's known to have fewer bugs.
._.
Have a look for DI or merged profiels on the rig exchange
I'm doing kinda like drog with 2 CLR's and 2 4x12's
Wow, and I am sometimes too lazy to bring my DXR10....
+1
I currently put the Loop into the delay slot (Delay + Reverb in the Loop) and have the Kempers reverb always set to off.
Try any of the MBritt profiles without any tweaks. While I think they are a bit dull on lower volume levels they are perfectly fine tuned for loud FOH applications.
