I prefer free profiles, too, but if Armin would put up a good JTM45 I think I'd buy them. But have to check out Lance's JTM45/Till Rig first
If you don't like to buy profiles, just don't buy them

Noticed that too, and I think that turning up gain on a clean amp profile (with 3 steps) sounds better than before now, or is it just imagination

All I can say: +1
In 3 of the 4 rigs I use I use Till's cabs. The KPA is the FIRST unit that sounds good using FRFR with our crappy PA in rehearsal room, I dunno why With a good PA at gigs it rocks so hard -
They should also implement a "tube warmup" modelling like the KPA has..
-
I used the RCF NX112SMA for a while. Very good monitor! But I'm using In-Ears now.
-
I think I never use the Advanced parameters at all. Most of the profiles are SO great that there is no need to tweak for me. Maybe a quick adjust in Gain/EQ (it's awesome with those "physical knobs") and that's it. This thing rocks

I played the Duotone for 4 years. Damn ... I loved that amp!!! Please - post the profiles - I would LOVE to check them out

It works. But I think the switches suck.

Great Stuff, Chris

Meeee....
Built one myself - sounds killer

But I think I'll replace the body with a parchment colored - this one is too yellow for my taste

Please make sure, you have installed the latest firmware
I have - but it only works as a on/off switch.
-
Sounds like a plan. We could use 3 KPAs at the same time for different mic positions to save time
-
Sounds great! Another toilet paper roll profile? I can hear the paper...

Done deal! [Blocked Image: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/images/smilies/beer.gif]
Anybody else interested? South-west Germany, eventually North Swiss and AlsaceMeeeee... I could bring a Diezel Einstein and a vintage JTM45 Where you guys exactly from? I'm from Frankfurt/Main.

I have no idea what "telegraph" is... but that sounds very good

Btw... I tried to use those CC as a real mix value (for like 0 = 0% and 127 = 100%). Doesn't work for me. Only on/off via mix.
-
If you use CC #27 instead of #26 it will spillover, same for reverb, use CC #29 instead of #28. In both case it put the mix at 0 instead of switching the FX off
:-O
Good idea! -
+1.
Only thing that sucks currently: No spillover when switching delay on and off, but I'm sure that will be fixed very soon in a future firmware
