You do not want to control the intensity of the kill switch, do you? I te sity in this case would just be a volume control, if I get you right...
no, the speed of the toggle, like shown in that video at 1.50"

Display MoreWith the remote contol its easy to mute via switching to tuning. (tuning should be set to mute)
I think this function is possible with Switch/Pepal Inputs at back panel.
In the reference manual I found follows:
Quote:
Instead of expression pedals, the two Switch / Pedal inputs can also be used to connect switches. Switches can be used for all kinds of tasks, such as switching effects, engaging the tuner, or tapping the tempo
Unquote:
It has to be configurated in the System menue (Pedal 1,2).
I can not proof it, cause my KPA is sent to Kemper for repair.
keep rockin' Harry
yep, Harry you're right !
I didn't think of muting the signal via Tuner mute !
Would you elaborate? I did not get it...
think of an extreme Tremolo effect where the speed is controlled by an expression pedal ...
Hi,
Anyone knows how to create a "Kill switch / Toggle switch effect" that can be controlled by an expression pedal ?
Thanks

t'es où en France ?
thanks,
i just want to use the KPA effects in front of an old Plexi, so no need to buy a multiFX unit like the M9 or similar..
now that's what i wanted to hear !
thanks a lot !
I was wondering if i could use the KPA as an FX unit before a regular tube amp ?
no ampsim or cabsim... just the FX unit like a regular pedalboard into an amp.
Direct out with stack section set off ?
any ideas ?
thanks,
reznor
thanks for the info Pete, any EQ settings on the main and monitor outputs ?
how does the Alto work ? is it the Alto TS110A you're using ? can you use it as a wedge ?
i've got a RCF NX 10 SMA and i like it a lot, but it's 3 times the price of the Alto, so...
cheers,
Marc
Anybody using the KPA live with a bass ?
What does your live rig look like ?
Cabs ? Monitors ? Poweramps ?
thanks,
1. you assign the rotary on/off to an effect button on the remote (button I f.ex.)
2. page 1 of the Rorary effect screen push and hold soft button "rotation speed" and on your remote press another effect button (buttton IIII) to assign it.
here you go...
Yes! At least my issues. Since Yesterday, I´m on 3.0.1 and have nothing to complain about!
great to hear, i don't have the remote available right now, so i'm updating to 3.0.1 as well.
that preview mess was pretty annoying in a live situation...
thanks for letting me know
cheers,
problem solved with new firmware ?
same problem here....
now that's what i couldn't find in the manual, can you tell me on what page in the manual you found the solution ?
i defintely owe you one
i'm going to try this, thanks
too bad nobody of the Kemper team can give me a hint except "read the manual"
*the times they are changing"
i would already be happy to make it work with a remote button, i have a gig tonight and i'd like to use the remote...
all set up except that f.....g rotary speed !
that's exactly what i want to do, though the expression pedal is acting like a switch it gives you a good feel for the rotary going faster an slower...
but i can't even find a way to control rotary speed with a remote button,
any suggestions other than reading the manual, what i've already done...
