Things are gonna get interesting. This can only be a good thing for us guitar players, more competition surely will lead to better products on both sides. For me the Kemper format best suits my needs. I prefer having knobs instead of menus for live situations. but prefer having a computer editor to knobs for studio work. If i was Cliff i would have added a mic input to his hardware plus profiling and called it axe fx 2 ultra. I wouldnt be suprised if Line 6 does profiling at some point too.

Yes. As other people here, I own an AxeFX Ultra. It's biggest flaw has always been the IR size/cab block. I've been working with IR's since 2002 (mostly rooms back then), and every time I A/B the "high resolution" 1024 point IR (23ms) in the AxeFX with my original (ten times larger) it's so inferior. It's mostly nuances of course but still, getting the nuances right is the last piece of the puzzle, right?
How's that for a first post?

Maybe we could gather here in this thread some alternative hard and soft cases that match with the Kemper's size.
Great idea
-
For 90,- Euro? Thomann? Please give me a link. I am interested too!
PS: for me the Kemper bag is a very good accessories, but 89,90 Euro is really a bit to high! The link has allready been posted earlier in the thread http://www.thomann.de/de/kempe…fe0777e44f12b600f290f95c5

Anyone else think that 90 euro is way way too much money for a soft case? it should be more like 30- 40 euro max. I'm gonna search for an alternative option

If you save your rigs, make a factory restore and re-load you rIgs it will go away
Ive done a factory restore and re-loaded my rigs and i still have lots of noise when my guitar cable is unplugged its very loud the same as it was before factory restore. When im plugged in its super quiet and have no noise issues at all. anyone else having this problem?

That is very deep it sounds like a bass guitar. Does it use a bass string for the F# ? Cool video Anton

I really wouldn't worry about any technical stuff that's spouted elsewhere because no one but Kemper knows the answer of how the cabs work for sure. The cabs are one of the things that hit me straight away with the kemper they sound great. Ive not heard anyone yet say they prefer redwire/axe or any other cabs to the kemper ones yet and in my own tests i prefer the kemper cabs to my redwire ir's. Although that is just my personal preference and nothing more there was no noticeable bottom end missing in comparisons. The bottom end for me sounds really good there's no need to be using a para eq to tame them like some other products Need which i see as a good thing.
Bottom line is ,,, if it sounds good it is good and anything else is just waffle.

Does anyone here have a carvin legacy? I owned one for years but had to sell it a few months before i got my kemper. For lead work its the best tone Ive ever had. It would be awesome if someone could profile one Chris Beaver. Emotion

It would be great to have some hi gain profiles with more distortion and dirt, the hi gains so far sound a little tame to me when used for direct recording in metal type stuff.also love to hear more pedals used in profiles.
Loads more distortion exactly what you don't want when trying to get a huge powerful guitar sound There's some killer profiles already for this kind of thing. Try the diezel and the triple recto that have been uploaded here. There's a few others too that work Great for the type of recording tone you want. Multi track these profiles and they sound huge and powerfull Make sure you have your input gain set correctly just in-case its set too low for your axe

Thanks very much for these profiles I cant wait to try these out
