It just works, plain and simple. Sounds great, doesn't color the sound whatsoever, easy to use, enough headroom, lightweight, quiet, ...I've got the 2HE version by the way.
My band has a couple of live movies on Youtube where I'm playing through Kemper > Matrix > Mesa 4x12 but they are crappy cam quality so difficult to judge the sound from that.
In case you want to check it out anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…=UUaTBUiez7UrCZ9asg5SkFzw -
Here's what I'm going to do: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RDMH900/ It lets you insert the power for the midi pedal remotely - at the other end of the cable.
I'll attach the GCP wall wart ,with velcro, into the KPA's hollow back cavity to keep clutter down.
Then, I'll use something like this to power everything up:
That should solve it for me...until Kemper brings out their own phantom powered floorboard.
I use the same solution, works fine (power is in the rack anyway).

least, when boosting presence and highs i have a lot of energy up to 12khz with presence and eq set to 0, and with presence and eq bossted, 16 and more khz are shown on the analyzer, so 22khz at least can´t be true for the output after the amp-eq section
Sample frequency has nothing to do with signal in a certain frequency range of the EQ spectrum...

Why? It's got a dedicated button and you can switch it via MIDI...

If you used Paypal, there's normally also some sort of "buyer insurance" available.
Don't know the specifics though... -
Another vote for "non-FRFR" although I'm sure that works great.
I originally plugged the KPA in the fx return of a Mesa Dual rectifier into a Mesa 4x12 XL which worked fine but -as already mentioned here- it colored the sound quite a bit and not in a good way.
I switched to a Matrix GT1000FX into the same Mesa 4x12 and I'm in tonal heaven nowSo yes, the culprit in your case is most likely your poweramp...

and while you're at it, make it stereo

You're ironic, right?
Omg run, the Fractal demons are migrating! -
So who's going to test this in a controlled environment?
-
Shouldn't a power conditioner be able to protect the KPA as well in that situation?
Sure, it'll shut down when the power goes, but if a powerspike occurs and never reaches the KPA, you should be able to switch it on again immediately, no? -
Order it direct
+1, mine arrived 2 days after ordering it (UK > Belgium) and the communication was really fast and friendly!

That's what the input level knob is for, no?

The Gordius is perfect. I wish they would make it a bit thinner
True, but it fits just inside a pedaltrain hardcase (if you put some weight on the cover :D)
-
I know, but sorta sucks
The Gordius guy would issue an update in a heartbeat to control the KPA in a more advanced way, as soon as the info -and indeed MIDI out- were available. -
+1
I have a Gordius LG2 which is perfect since I need to control more than just the KPA.
But I really need advanced MIDI documentation to enable 2-way communication. -
The man has a point but depends on how it will be implemented of course.
