A simple pitch shifter is much more important in my scenarios than the "Perform" mode or any other feature, because it would allow me to exchange my FX Pedal with a simple MIDI pedal.

I'm using a POD HD 500 as Midi controller for the KPA.
Advantage: I have a backup with me on stage. At home, I'm using my Behringer FCB1010 to control the KPA.
Advantage: 10 instead of 8 presets accessible withou bank switch. -
I'd like to have a drawer which perfectly fits in the space on the back of the KPA for picks, strings, capo etc.

What did you run the Kemper through? FRFR or guitar cab?
I run it through a two channel in-ear system set to mono mode. One channel receives the mix which is sent to the PA, the other channel receives the signal from the monitor out of the KPA. This setup works great for me, as I can adapt the mix band/me in my in-ear system to my liking with no need to involve the FOH mixer.

There's not much to say. The KPA sounded great and worked like a charm (no issues at all). Can't wait to play the next gig with this amazing box.
