I bought probably one of the first Kempers and I have been waiting for the PC editor ever since.

    It should support

    • changing between rigs
    • Edit rigs and listening at the same time,
    • marking multible rigs for deletion

      • moving into My Rigs, Favorites .....
      • Setting the same output level
      • and everything else, that is relevant for multible rigs at the same time.
    • All effect parameters should be editable
    • direct updates without a USB key.
    • Editing all MIDI parameters

I have a studio and tell customers that they only need to bring an amp the first day of recording if the 800+ rigs are not what they want. It's a real pain i.t.a. to edit on the Kemper itself.
Cleaning up unusable rigs is even more painfull.....

COme on Guys - if Line6 can - so can you - we believe in you...

    Thanks

    Yes you do....

We have a lot of gear but the main Things are

    The KPA...
Allen & Heath ZED R16 firewire mixer ( Phoenic 16 ch Firewire mixer as backup)
Sonar X2 Producer software on a very powerfull computer
    The Adam speakers
    2 x 28" monitors
two complete 10 piece drum sets

My son and I have build a small but very well equipped home studio where we and friends spend a LOOOT of time.
Whet really separate this home studio from others is the Space we have and the KPA. 124 m2 with separate rehearsal room, separate control room with almost everything we need, and a 7.2 Cinema with 90" screen HD projector and ok hifi. This is used for evaluating our surround and hifi recordings.

Pls check the latest videos from the studio:

All strings are recorded through the Kemper....

... oh yes... pls download my profiles for the greatest solo sounds...

    Cheers !! 8) :D

Tried to update from 1.1xx til 1.60 without succes
Went then from 1.1 to 1.5.4 and install was ok
When shutting down the KPA the screen flickers long after it is shut down.
Only removing the power makes it stop...

Updating from 1.5.4 to 1.6.0 went ok too, so now it seems to work ok...

    Hi...
Just uploadet my first profile on JVM 410 CH 4 Green Mode
I have had all sorts of difficulties with Kemper generated noise (No, the red buttons on the back have no effect ).
JVM 410 CH 4 Green Mode is a mix between crunch and hi gain and the profile has the advantage, that you can use Kemper's gain to make it a little cleaner if you like. It still preserves all the nice sounds from the Marshall JVM amp.
The profile is also very sensitive to changes in the guitars volume making it very flexible.
It has a little delay and some reverb from the Kempers own effects for soloing but if you remove that and reduce gain a little - you will have a great sounding crunchy rythm sound with everything Marshall is well known for.
The mics are SM57 slightly off axis and a Sennheiser e906 with a little more emphasis on the 57..
Lots of talk.... try it and let me know what you think, pls...

Do you have any Masotti X100M profiles.
Just got my Kemper the other day and a Masotti would be greatly appreciated.
When I get the noise problems from the Kemper solved, I will add some Marshall JVM410 sounds from all 12 modes....
I haven't figured the difference between profiling rigs, amps and cabs yet... but some day I will ( I hope) ?(
