Hi, my best advice is to get to a dealer and spend some time with it. I cant really compare but have used Line 6 modelling amps and VST ones and its just so easy to record and be productive, Loads of people on the forum seriously tweak the profiles including fx's. "as I am the delays, verbs and trem/vibrato/leslie stuff." Its all in there and again tweakable although I haven't. I love the stereo tremelo which is used in my demo http://www.kemper-amps.com/for…page=Thread&threadID=6307 and just started trying out the leslie which is great.
Hope this is helpful good luck.

Great sound, arrangement and performance. Commercial too, what's not to like...

Hi, have you checked out some other threads under 'tonematching' - Tylerhb has posted quite a bit on it.

To me it feels a bit like a good marriage, the initial obsession of courtship has been replaced with trust and reliance - I'll not say love having seen The big band last nigh and Raj's infatuation with Siri!
I'm not quiet as excited when a new profile is posted on the exchange as I've got so many, but I just use it to make music and can't imagine not having it. Which is more balance although my wife might disagree..

The excellent JMP-1 profile reminded me to ask has anyone got one of the lovely JTM 1's and profiled it?
Neil -
Went off the thread a little with last response to the post anyway as ever with your stuff the profiles sound great. My mate got a newer one on ebay last week and had it shipped over from Germany which sounded sweet so when I get my hands on it to profile it'll be interesting to hear how they compare.

Interesting article which I found worth a read..http://www.musicradar.com/news…tric-guitar-tone-528489/1

Sound like something out of Ian Hunter's fantastic Diary of a Rock'n'Roll Star which describes Motts 1972 US tour. He and guitarist Mick Ralphs - later of Bad Company - would trawl through the pawn shops doing deals and picking up Melody Makers and Juniors etc etc - though god knows where they put them all when they got home?
Definitely worth a read.

I got the impression that some form of profiling of stomp box was also being considered.. which if user profile-able ( is there such a word?) would seriously strain the rig exchange

If you've a new user I'd recommend spending an hour or so going through all the posts in the Free Rigs and Profiles thread. Its really good to read and learn from others I pick up some great profiles which i wouldn't have looked for such as a stunning Morgan AC 20, GeneandEddie's Reinhardt excellent Telegraph Road and some others rigs or profiles that aren't in the rig exchange such as okstrats.

A jaunty country number recorded in a simple, loose feel.

Nice purchase you lucky bugger, and looking forward to playing the profiles.
Don't you just love the way one purchase can be shared so many times through the profile exchange, such excellent value - $50 divided by 2366?

I've given up wanting to know _ i'll just take what they ship it - It always works for me and enhances a great product. Clearly performance mode must be a priority for them and I want and editor/librarian but I've moved on and just enjoying what we've got and making music which is after all that the point, Its just a great tool. And indeed a great community.

Guys thanks - this amp/profiles just loves strats and tele's in particular and should be just right for a bit of country picking - if only I could manage that...
