i just got a rocktron velocity 300 from the broken section on musicians friend fixed it and it sounds great

you can use the wah lo and hi pass
-
that would be handy as a parameter for each amp to level the output
-
for reamping you will need a reamp box basically an impedance matching transformer that will take the output signal of your daw/innerface and unbalance it and put it at guitar impedance then hook the output of the reampbox to the input of the kemper and the output of the kemper to your input and hit record

someone use rocktron or art sla 1?
i use a rocktron velocity 100 and it sounds good to me but mainly i just play it through my recording rig with a set of neumann kh120si recently upgraded to a velocity 300 and it sounds much better than the 100 it has presence and resonance controls that you can dial to make any cab sound huge
-
a nice pitch shift that could be sent in parallel would be awesome
-
they did its called virus
-
well i just made one that sounds good but no octave
-
now i really want pitch shift on my kemper
-
ive been using a tube mic that i built for 170 dollars and an sm57 and i have more than enough low mids when listining back to back through studio monitors with the kemper di to innerface and the mixed cab in the room it sounds about 99.5% to where i cant tell the difference i find a problem when puting it through a cab and power amp when bypassing the cab sim is where it seems to loose the warmth to me

presence and resonance

i would like there to be a way to assign say your normal cab to the main output and a di cab to the monitor so it dosnt loose as much of the profiles sound also it would be nice if you were able to disable the cab portion when profiling
-
is there a way to assign a different cab to the monitor section say the di profile and a different cab to the main outputs?

You can use any DI box to tab the speaker signal if it has a PAD of at least -20db (for a 100 watt amp better -40db). Behringer GI100 and Radial JDX are guitar-DI-boxes with a analog speaker simulation circuits built in. If you use those you are colouring your profile again - if you want that.
I was talking about using only the MASS motor (not the MASS attenuator) as a load box for DI profiling. But even the MASS attenuator would do fine as a dummy load as long as you are not miking the signal in the speaker. And BTW those new, transformer based attenuators like the Ironman or the Aracom are really a different breed!
After all - I still think the best solution is to schlepp your stuff to a noisy room for an hour of profiling.
i was building it to get the di profile and use with a power amp/speaker but i tried going out of the fx loop for the preamp section and it just looses the punch that my amps power section provides
-
so as the title says I'm going to build a load box so i can keep the 8 or 16 ohm load on my output transformer and take a di tap from that so i can profile the amp by itself then add cabs as i please.
what are you'r thoughts on this? -
glad to see you got a kemper i purchased my nitro because i watched you'r demo videos of it
-
ok i will try that thanks
-
i tried the kemper through a rocktron velocity 100 into the cab and it just seems to be lacking the power section punch that the actual amp has i dont know what to do about it

at the moment it is running into a vintech 573 mic pre into protools and out of some krk rokit 5's soon to be replaced with klien and hummel kh120's
