Slimfive,
It also might help to understand what bands or artists most closely sound like what you are trying to achieve, live. For instance, there might be some great sounding Uberschall model that we could recommend, but if you are looking for more of a Boogie sound, then a recommendation for a JP-2C or something might be more helpful to you. Just my 2 pesos.

PS - Slim 5 (add vito) is my favorite Jimmy John's sandwich.
The Ready Player One reference shows you're 'up to date', so to speak. The War Games reference just says "I'm old."
I know because I read it in that computer's voice.
I fart actual dust. I went to high school with Noah... of the big boat. Moses was my gym coach in high school. Please don't trip on my walker on the way out. You'll know it's mine because it has "Still waiting for the editor" painted on it in flames.
I'm alternating between thinking the 2000th post will trigger some sort of "Ready Player One" easter egg hunt... or a "Wargames"-like genocidal armageddon. "Would you like to profile an amp? How about Global Thermonuclear Gain?"
Killer job, sambrox!
Sweet! Thanks, Mick!
Mind.... blown
ROFLMAO! #youwininternetz

Thanks for the update, G String!
So basically Turkey Day or thereabouts is where I am setting my new expectation baseline. Gravy.... errr... GROOVY!

Sennheiser HD-580/600 series and higher are reference quality headphones in an open ear/over the ear design.
Sennheiser HD-280Pro are excellent closed ear/over the ear design used a TON in tracking with headphones with limited exterior audio bleed due to their closed ear design
I have both and they are both excellent.
Some mixing engineers compress distorted guitars but far from everybody do that but saturation? No F way. You don't destroy already good high gain sound with saturation. Blend in or create room mics? What? NO!
I'm going WAY out on a limb and (hoping) saying that he meant to blend room mics for the DRUMS, and not the guitar (or any other bus) bus. If he meant using room mics on the full two channel mixdown bus... well, then I am completely at a loss as to where he read/heard/hallucinated that this is the right thing to do.

Relax. The annoucement is NOT from Kemper. If you check out the IG account that got REPOSTED from (@thatguyonguitar), THAT'S who is making a "cool announcement". C'mon kids, I know you're anxious, but taking 10 seconds to check out who said what keeps everyone from jumping the gun. I want the editor as much as everyone else who wants it, but we just need to wait until it's fully baked and they can release a worthy product, not a steaming pile.
Jeffro
Didn't realize they'd taken it out of beta. Good sign, I would think.
Subscribe to the Kemper Announcements sub-forum, Ruefus. That way you get all the official announcements notices as soon as they post them. That's where you'll hear first when the editor is ready, most likely.
HTH,
Jeff
They don't know that we know that they know we know... about an editor. Don't tell ANYONE!
I couldn't even if I WANTED to!

Thanks again, nightlight!

Thanks, Guilese!
Can't stop using M Britt Steve Stevens free profile live.
Is this on the Exchange? I don't see anything coming up from M Britt when I search on "Stevens".
Thanks,
Jeff
